Jennifer Lawrence opened up about filming a 'weird and uncomfortable' nude scene with co-star Andrew Barth.

The actors appeared together in the 2023 sex-comedy which followed the story of a woman who is hired by a couple to date their romantically and sexually experienced son.

The Hunger Games star Lawrence played the role of 32-year-old Maddie, an Uber driver and bartender who is struggling to make ends meet. She begins to pursue a relationship with awkward high school graduate Percy (Andrew Barth) in exchange for his parents buying her a car.

Perhaps the most shocking and talked about scene in the movie involved a seaside skinny-dipping session turned beach fight, which required both Lawrence and Barth to strip naked.

For the vast majority of us, stripping off naked in-front of a co-worker or someone we hardly know would be the genuine definition of hell. But for actors, it's just another part of the job - and for Lawrence and Barth, this scene also involved being naked while fighting for their clothes back and jumping on the bonnet of a car.

Thankfully the pair weren't feeling too shy about it.

Speaking about the scene in an interview with People, the pair opened up on how they were feeling the moment they stripped off.

"Deep breath and then I disrobed," Lawrence responded, while Barth added: "I never second guessed it but it was a weird and uncomfortable thing to do for any human being."

Despite feeling 'weird' about getting naked on camera, Barth added that he had felt 'incredibly safe' on the set, with his biggest concern actually being the weather during filming.

"It was also raining," he said. "I was like 'hope I don't die' but honestly it was fine."

Lawrence had also spoken about the scene during the premiere for No Hard Feelings, telling Buzzfeed there was 'no doubt' about filming the scene.

"It all just felt hilarious and there was no question, it just made it [the movie] so much funnier," she said.

"There was just no doubt in my mind that it had to be done and it was fun and funny to shoot, as weird as that sounds."

This isn't the first time Lawrence has given us an insight into her time on set either, with the actress previously opening up about getting tipsy before kissing scenes and giggling on set with co-stars.
