Laura Dern had superlative words of praise for her Lonely Planet co-star Liam Hemsworth when she talked about filming sex scenes together.
The pair have been acting in a movie which just released on Netflix about a writer who begins an affair with a younger man, and presumably various romantic movie tropes come into play.
Dern is writer Katherine who is suffering from writer's block and the effects of a break-up, and is trying to get her mojo back at a resort in Morocco as you do.

There she meets finance guy Owen (Hemsworth) who is at the resort with his writer girlfriend Lily (Diana Silvers).
Since Lonely Planet is a movie about Katherine and Owen getting together you can imagine it's not all smooth sailing between him and Lily during the movie as she needs to be got out of the way.
A series of things happen to clear the way for Katherine and Owen to hook up and Dern had plenty of good things to say about shooting a sex scene with Liam Hemsworth in an interview with People.

The Jurassic Park star said her co-star was 'literally the safest person I could ever talk through everything in my life with' for shooting the scene.
There was an intimacy coordinator on the set, but Dern declared she felt 'so lucky' that she was working with Hemsworth based on the way he conducted himself in the more challenging scenes.
She said: "By the time we were doing those scenes, there was nothing we couldn't talk about together and work out creatively, professionally, all of that.
"But we also had a lot of support. We had much, much discussion."

Dern added that it was 'incredible' that the filmmaking process has changed so much that 'everyone is comfortable in their voice and can set boundaries comfortably' and they don't have to be scared of 'losing a job or being unpopular'.
She said that both she and Hemsworth 'have had a lot of other kinds of experiences on movies'.
Liam said that shooting Lonely Planet at times 'just felt like we were hanging out and it was getting captured at the same time'.

Elsewhere for Netflix, Hemsworth is their new monster hunting main man in The Witcher series, replacing Henry Cavill after three seasons on the show.
However, Hemsworth will only get two seasons to wrap things up as Netflix announced they'd only be going to five.
Lonely Planet is available to watch now on Netflix.
