John Cena produced one of the more humourous moments at the Academy Awards last night (10 March).
The Oscars never fail to disappoint, with several memorable moments on the night such as Ryan Gosling's iconic 'I'm Just Ken' performance, Robert Downey Jr's first ever Oscar win and Arnold Schwarzenegger and Danny DeVito's skit grabbing the comedy headlines.
But one moment stood out head and shoulders above the rest as the most hilarious and odd event of the night.

And lo and behold, it featured none other than wrestling legend turned actor, John Cena.
The 46-year-old was responsible for presenting the Best Costume Design award, and was introduced on stage by the host of the 96th Academy Awards, Jimmy Kimmel.
"At the 46th Academy Awards, 1974, David Niven was in the middle of introducing Elizabeth Taylor when a nude man, a streaker, ran across the stage," he said.
"Can you imagine if a nude man ran across the stage today?" Kimmel concluded.

Cena made his way on stage in nothing but a large winner's envelope to cover his business and a pair of Birkenstocks.
"Honestly, you should feel shame right now for suggesting such a tasteless idea. The male body is not a joke," the WWE legend said to Kimmel in response.
He jokingly explained: "Costumes… they are so important. Maybe the most important thing there is."

Cena then needed help from the host to open the envelope without exposing himself, before announcing that the award went to Poor Things.
Luckily, by the time the nominee montage finished, Cena was clothed in a toga that was made of an Oscars stage curtain.
But it turns out that the Peacemaker actor actually wasn't naked after all, as new backstage photos emerged of the wrestling star with a 'modest pouch' to cover his most valuable area.
Examining the photo, you have to say that the team were quite careful with their placement, and that they only covered what they needed to.

They had most of us fooled, to be fair, and Cena sold the gag very well.
Viewers found the stunt quite funny, taking to X to share their thoughts.
And yes, there are plenty of 'U can't see me' jokes.

One user said: "Why is there a floating card?"
Another posted: "Bro thinks we cannot see him or something," while a third said: "He took the 'You can't see me' s**t way too seriously."
And a different user posted: "Bro gave up the WWE championship to s**t like THIS?!?!?"
