Red Dead Redemption fans have made an incredible concept trailer for the movie adaptation that many people are still begging for.
And it looks like it could work very well, especially if their idea of Mads Mikkelsen being cast as Arthur Morgan is followed through:
While some are sceptical about how well the game’s story and events would translate into live-action, many are still hoping Rockstar Games eventually makes it happen.

There’s even been a celebrity endorsement from Jack Black, who told the BBC earlier this year that he’d love to see the western video game reimagined as a film – citing HBO’s The Last of Us as proof of just how well it could work.
“The Last of Us was fantastic,” he said.
“And what’s crazy is how loyal it is to the original source material. It’s basically all from the game with just a couple of tweaks… They used the video game almost like a storyboard and I was like, ‘Whoa, this looks just the same.’”
He continued: “And there are some great games that have yet to be explored in television or film.

“Maybe there’s going to be a Red Dead Redemption movie? There should be, because I think that [has] just as good or [an] even better story than The Last of Us.”
Rockstar’s publisher Take-Two Interactive has teased a film in the past, but nothing is officially in development as of yet - other than Red Dead Redemption 3, of course.
Nevertheless, the idea of a film has given people plenty of inspo to create their own take on what a live-action project could look like, with a hypothetical concept trailer released earlier this year to show how it might work if the game were to get the big screen treatment.

The fans behind the mock-up trailer decided to cast none other than Mads Mikkelsen as Arthur Morgan, using footage of him from 2014 western The Salvation to illustrate what he'd look like in action.
Other live-action fan casts for Arthur have previously included Christian Bale, Tom Hardy, Brad Pitt, and Roger Clark - the character’s voice actor.
But it seems others are keen on the above vision, with one even so convinced that they commented on YouTube: "Is this for real?"

Someone else said: "Wow! Just wow!"
Another suggested: "Personally I feel like Keanu reeves should be in this movie idk how but somehow."
C'mon Rockstar, make it happen...
