Sandra Bullock said she had to tell herself to ‘not look down’ after co-star Ryan Reynolds' balls slipped out during filming. An interesting day at work for them both, eh?
The duo starred in the 2009 rom-com The Proposal - which recently landed on Netflix, if you fancy giving it a watch - in which Bullock plays demanding boss Margaret who orders her assistant Andrew (played by Reynolds) to marry her so she can keep hold of her US visa.
During one scene, Margaret steps out of the shower and is looking around for a towel when she has a run in with an equally naked Andrew, who has just stripped off after going for a run.

The pair awkwardly smash their naked bodies into each other before tumbling to the ground.
Hilarious scenes for the audience, but unbearable cringe-inducing for the character - and it was almost as embarrassing for the actors, with Bullock revealing that the small modesty cover ups she had on became ‘unstuck’.
Meanwhile, Reynolds had himself a similar issue, accidentally showing off his ballsack to everyone on set.

Speaking on the About Last Night podcast, she said: "Ryan and I have these flesh-coloured things stuck to our privates, my hair is strategically over the nipples and Ryan's little — not little, at all! It's just whatever's there, and I don't know because I didn't see it, I didn't look!"
Bullock went on to stress that Reynolds nether regions were ‘protected and caressed and stuck wherever it needed to be stuck’ and that after the two stars collided the director would yell ‘cut’ but neither of them could really move.
This resulted in Reynolds ‘on his back with his knees up’ while Bullock was ‘resting on his knees, just waiting’. Sounds like an interesting day at work.
And if that isn’t quite awkward enough for you, things then took a turn for the worse for the poor actor.

Bullock went on: "I hear Anne Fletcher [director] from the darkness go, ‘Ryan, we can see your ball sack!’ I'm like, ‘Oh God!’ because you wanna look down, but I'm like, ‘Don't look down. Don't look down’.”
Bullock said that following Fletcher’s announcement the crew then scrambled and ‘spun around to see if they could find a monitor’, with the star adding: "I was like, ‘Anne, there's a way to present that information'.”
Fortunately, Reynolds didn’t seem too put out by the potentially embarrassing moment, according to Bullock.

"In friendship, you just didn't care; it wasn't my business to look, it's just there, and then Anne just bringing everyone's focus to that area,” she added.
"Ryan was just so cool, unflappable. He is absolutely unflappable.”
