Sandra Bullock is used to being bare with her emotions while acting, but getting bare-skinned for 2009's The Proposal was a whole other experience.
I guess it helps if you're sharing a scene with an also naked Ryan Reynolds, though.

After The Proposal came out, it definitely got tongues wagging when it put the two actors together in a nude scene.
Admittedly, there wasn't much about the set-up that was saucy, given the fact the two end up naked at the same time totally by accident.
Bullock's character is looking for a towel after getting out of the shower and she bumps into Reynolds, causing them to crash to the ground.

It's all types of awkward, but for the audience, it's hysterical.
Understandably, the filming process for such a scene can be fraught with technical issues.
In an interview, the Oscar-winning actor explained: "You have things covering up your essential parts but they get unstuck.
"And, oddly enough, we didn't care because we were so tired. Ann was like, 'Sandra, your vagina is hanging out. Cover it up.' I'm like, 'Oh, sorry, sorry.'

"And the crew would be like, 'Jeez, her nipple is showing.'
"They weren't titillated, they were unhappy because they knew we had to retake the shot.
"They're like, 'We want to go to lunch. Cover the nip.' So that's pretty much how the day went."
Just another day at the office, eh?

Despite the frustrations of some members of the crew, Bullock still found time to compliment her co-star.
Bullock said: "The nudity was appropriate for the film. I had to be buck-naked.
"The big thing was that it was funny. And the only way it could be funny was if you saw my whole body.

"Ann Fletcher, the director, was amazing in how she choreographed it because we knew we couldn't show anything too explicit.
"I had a little bit more area to cover than Ryan did, so it was a little trickier for me.
"But I can talk about Ryan's penis if you want. I mean if I looked like him, I'd be naked all the time."
What higher compliment could you hope to receive?
Not that there weren't ground rules laid down when it came to getting in the buff.
The Gravity star recalled: "I was like, ‘I will do this naked scene only if I can be humiliated and funny.' You will not see me trying to attempt being sexy naked—in real life or onscreen.
"There's just no point in it! It was for that reason, with a friend that you trusted comedically, and safety-wise I knew I was in the presence of safety."
