A Spider-Man fan was shook after realising that JK Simmons never got to say J. Jonah Jameson’s most iconic line in the film.
Meme-lovers you're not going to believe this one.
When Tom Holland was six years old, director of the Spider-Man trilogy Sam Raimi was responsible for making Tobey Maguire one of the most recognisable faces in cinema after his iconic portrayal of Stan Lee's Peter Parker.
If you want to feel really old, the first movie came out 22 years ago and the second and third instalments were released in 2004 and 2007 respectively.

Time is well and truly flying quicker than Green Goblin's glider.
Simmons instantly became a Marvel fan-favourite after making the J. Jonah Jameson role his own.
The veteran played the editor-in-chief of The Daily Bugle, who loves taking pictures of Spider-Man while simultaneously hating Peter Parker.
In one of the most iconic scenes from the film, J. Jonah Jameson's line about wanting more pics of the superhero is one of the most-used meme's on social media.

However, as pointed out by Reddit user AllKnighty, the line has been misquoted and was never actually used by Simmons in the films.
"I was thinking about that line, it's something people usually say when they reference J. K. Simmons' performance on those movies, yet while watching clips of his best moments [I] was shocked to see that that specific line was nowhere to be found," the Redditor said.

"Best I got was a clip from him saying 'I want photos of Spider-Man' from a Simpsons' bit where Simmons was playing the character again, but I never even seen that episode in my life.
"It's so weird, I can clearly hear it on my head, with that impatient delivery, and I swear to God that at some point I actually watched that. Truly bizarre."

For the sticklers among you, the real quote from The Simpsons skit is actually 'I need photos of Spider-Man'.
Now, Simmons said his return to the franchise in Far From Home was a bit of a last-minute addition.
He claims he was told that filming for his scene would start 'the day after tomorrow'.

When reprising the character, it seems that the studio didn't even have time to make a wig.
"No, we don't want you to have the flat-top hair cut and I was like, 'Wait, wait, wait. What?'" Simmons told the Happy, Sad, Confused podcast.
"Yeah, we don't want the cigar and the moustache.
"So, it was a negotiation then at that point.
"Obviously, the most important thing is that he's still the same blowhard and he does have the same damn mustache, close to it, and cigar at least."
