Phil Falcone, the producer behind the Terrifier franchise who director Damien Leone said wouldn’t be possible without, has confirmed his personal conditions for a fourth Terrifier.
As well as this, Falcone stated that he believes if a fourth happens – that will be the last in the franchise.
Terrifier 3 is out next week and for fellow sickos around the world, Christmas has truly come early.

The yuletide-set slasher is returning to theatres with the franchise’s typical subtlety – by causing walkouts and vomiting through their graphic and gory scenes.
If you’re one of the many beloved and devoted fans this franchise has cultivated, or simply someone interested in the sickest grimmest kills horror can give you, Phil’s measured response will give you hope regarding a possible sequel.
When asked about the possibility of a fourth, he exclusively told LADbible “I think I'm of a mind, as long as the fans find this one good and they want another, but four should wrap up the series.

“It could always go on if the fans really wanted if Damien has something, one of the things me and Damian have discussed since the beginning is we don't want it to go stale.
“We don't want it to become one of those things where you say they should have stopped at two, they should have stopped at three, they definitely should have stopped at four.
“I think as long as we could keep it fresh and keep things going in the right direction, I don't have a problem with continuing”.

In our separate exclusive chat with director Damien Leone, he also hinted he wasn’t done with the franchise.
When I asked about his future he said: “I'm not done with Terrifier yet, but there's not only other horror projects, but I would love to transition into more crime and thriller [films].
“It would be dark content, probably violent content, you know, it'd be something like Taxi Driver, or, you know, Fight Club, Clockwork Orange, or Tarantino movies, you know, that kind of vibe.
“Yeah, I wouldn't mind the way Cronenberg transitioned from Scanners into like, History of Violence yeah, that would be a cool transition.
"But I would never want to stop making horror movies.”

Phil Falcone went on to say about a possible fourth film: “We're looking at Terrifier 4 being the, you know, I don't want to say the end because you never know what's going to happen.
“[Terrifier 3] is a long film, just like the last one.
“If he figures it out, and the [fourth] is going to be three and a half hours, that ain't going to be good either.
“You never know if four could capture everything, because you don't want to chince out on four.

You don't want to say: “I got to cut this. I got to cut this”, to keep it down.
“So you try to make it where you're you have a great, solid movie, and you don't have gaps, especially if it's the conclusion of a film”.
