If you were wondering how much sex Gwyneth Paltrow and Timothée Chalamet have in their new film, the answer is 'a lot'.
The pair are set to star alongside one another in the upcoming A24 film Marty Supreme, which is scheduled to be released in January next year, as unlikely lovers.
The flick centres around the journey of Chalamet's character, who is a ping pong champ, while Paltrow is something of a table tennis WAG who falls into bed with him.

Speaking about her role in Josh Safdie's sports drama, the actress explained that she is 'married to someone who is in the ping pong mafia', but finds she cannot resist Chalamet's charms.
Paltrow, 52, told Vanity Fair of the relationship between her and the Wonka star's characters: "They meet and she’s had a pretty tough life, and I think he breathes life back into her, but it’s kind of transactional for them both."
As well as there being plenty of table tennis in Marty Supreme, there's apparently a lot of tonsil tennis - and the rest of it - in the movie too.

A snap of Paltrow and her 29-year-old co-star locking lips on set went viral earlier this week, and now, she's teased fans about the steamy scenes they have been filming.

"I mean, we have a lot of sex in this movie," the Shallow Hal star said. "There's a lot - a lot."
And when she was asked whether she and Chalamet ended up in a lot of 'vulnerable positions', Paltrow replied: "Beyond."
Although a lot of actors would be appreciative of an intimacy coordinator being present for these moments, Paltrow didn't want one cramping her style.
These professionals help ensure a safe and respectful environment on set for stars who have to feign passion for the sake of the plot line, and they've become a staple on set in wake of the #MeToo movement.
But Paltrow admitted she didn't even know that intimacy coordinators 'existed' before returning to the film set, given this is her first leading movie role since 2010.

And although she now understands their significance, the mother-of-two reckons that they are more of a hinderance than a help to her.

"There’s now something called an intimacy coordinator, which I did not know existed," Paltrow continued.
Discussing how she was asked whether she was comfortable performing a certain move with Chalamet, she said: "I was like, ‘Girl, I’m from the era where you get naked, you get in bed, the camera’s on.'"
Both her and Chalamet decided to march to the beat of their own drums while filming Marty Supreme, as Paltrow explained she would feel 'very stifled' as an actress if she took the intimacy coordinator's lead.

"We said, ‘I think we’re good. You can step a little bit back,'" she went on.
"I don’t know how it is for kids who are starting out, but…if someone is like, ‘Okay, and then he’s going to put his hand here’...I would feel, as an artist, very stifled by that."
Paltrow was still conscious of the age gap, while shooting risqué scenes with Chalamet, though.
She said of the Oscar-nominated actor: "I was like, ‘Okay, great. I’m 109-years-old. You’re 14'.
"He’s such a thinking man’s sex symbol. He’s just a very polite, properly raised...I was going to say kid. He’s a man who takes his work really seriously and is a fun partner."
