Wolverine is back!
Hugh Jackman's return as Marvel's Wolverine has been shown for the first time in the new trailer for Deadpool & Wolverine.

In a surprising twist though, Succession's Matthew Macfadyen's character appears to hint that this version of Wolverine isn't the same one from Logan.
The second full trailer also gives a bit more of a hint at the story, with Deadpool looking to recruit Jackman's character to try and help 'save the world'.
Full of swearing, violence, and hilarious references - the Deadpool we know and love is back.
And fans are beyond hyped for the film - understandably so.

One fan posted on X to say: "All I wanna say.. Is I hope the trailer isn’t deceiving because if the movie is like the trailer..I will be seated a thousand times."
While another fan commented on the subreddit r/marvelstudios, where they said:
"Idc man call it nostalgia, call it a cash-grab, I am in for this. I just can't help it... I see Hugh Jackman's Wolverine back in the classic suit and I'm in. It's that simple.

"As someone who believes LOGAN to be a perfect movie and a fantastic ending to Jackman's time as Wolverine, I was skeptical about him coming back for this... and yet, all that goes away when you see him slip back into the iconic character."
The 2017 film was originally intended to be Jackman's last turn as the Marvel character, but he was coaxed out of retirement by Ryan Reynolds.
Logan was a huge success too, with 90 percent on Rotten Tomatoes and a nomination at the Oscars for 'Best Adapted Screenplay'.
But despite it being a Deadpool movie, director Shawn Levy has previously stated it won't just be focused on the Merc with a Mouth, but both the main characters.

He said: "It also gave me an opportunity. It’s the third Deadpool movie, but it’s not Deadpool 3.
"It’s a different thing that’s very much Deadpool and Wolverine. And it’s not trying to copycat anything from the first two movies. They were awesome, but this is a two-hander character adventure."
Fans last saw the Aussie actor in the role after saying their goodbyes in 2017.

But this is not the first 'final appearance' to be rescinded from that movie either—Patrick Stewart returned as Professor Charles Xavier for a cameo in the most recent Doctor Strange film after previously calling Logan 'the end for him too'.
