The first official image of John Wick 4 has been released and it's sending fans sideways.
We get to see Keanu Reeves' character dressed in his iconic all black suit surrounded by burning candles.
The assassin is looking particularly ponderous or remorseful as he is probably reflecting on his body count in the previous three films. Or he could be praying to ask for forgiveness for what he's about to do...
Since it was dropped onto social media, people have gone wild about what it could mean.

One person said: "LETS GOOOOOOOO."
Another added: "Can’t wait! Comic book movies have been a let down all year, while Top Gun Maverick was a masterpiece!!! Bring on Wick 4 and Creed 3!"
A third wrote: "Let's have it. Can't wait to see this movie."
Very little else has been revealed about the upcoming movie, however, based off the previous instalments, it will no doubt be bloody and amazing.
According to Variety, a teaser for John Wick 4 dropped in April at the Lionsgate presentation during CinemaCon.

The sneak peek prompted massive cheers from the audience, who clapped and chanted 'you're the man'.
It featured cool-as-a-cucumber Wick absolutely annihilating everyone on his mission of perpetual revenge.
Although this time, Wick gave off a dark, lone ninja vibe, which the audience seemed to lap up.
In the footage screened in Las Vegas, Wick could reportedly be seen punching a wooden post until his knuckles bled while co-star Laurence Fishburne could be heard spurring on his co-star.

Off-screen, audiences heard a booming voice, telling Wick: “I want you to find peace, John, but the only path this leads to is death.”
He's also heard saying: "Abandon all hope, you who are about to listen. You are now in the presence of the motherf**king king!"
Sounds juicy.

Reeves' character said he's 'going to kill them all', and honestly, we have no doubt about that.
In the final scenes of the intense trailer, Wick could be seen brutalising his enemies in an art gallery in a relentless merry-go-round motion of nunchucks and brutality.
Aside from Reeves, a stellar cast of actors has signed on, including Lance Reddick, Rina Sawayama, Donnie Yen, Shamier Anderson, Bill Skarsgård, Hiroyuki Sanada, Scott Adkins and Clancy Brown.
Plus, audiences can count on being taken back to the Continental Hotel, with Ian McShane returning as its manager, Winston.

Halle Berry will not reprise her role as Sofia from Chapter 3.
Although Berry will be missed, the film is still sure to be an absolute banger with stuntman-turned-director Chad Stahelski at the helm once again.
