Eagle-eyed viewers think they've figured out the release date for GTA VI through a 'hidden message' in the trailer.
See if you can spot it in the trailer below:
The update millions of gamers were waiting for came last month when Rockstar boss Sam Houser said that the first trailer for GTA 6 would be arriving in 'early December'.

"We are very excited to let you know that in early December, we will release the first trailer for the next Grand Theft Auto," he tweeted.
"We look forward to many more years of sharing these experiences with all of you."
And fans got another big update on Friday (1 December), when the video game publisher revealed that the release date for the first trailer would be on 5 December at 9am ET (2pm UK time).

However, on Monday evening (4 December), the GTA community was stunned when the trailer unexpectedly dropped a day early.
"Our trailer has leaked so please watch the real thing on YouTube," Rockstar tweeted.
24 hours before its anticipated debut, the unrealised trailer had appeared on social media early on Monday afternoon.
According to reports, the account was suspended pretty fast - but the damage had already been done.

That being said, the trailer itself largely delivered - with the graphics looking out of this world.

It's set in the very familiar Vice City and we are introduced to a woman called Lucia as one of the lead characters - who is the first-ever female lead character in Grand Theft Auto's history.
In the trailer, we witness Lucia appearing in prison and later robbing a convenience store with a male lead character.
But sadly we'll have to wait till 2025 for the full release.

Now, the trailer has got over 54 million views after just 11 hours and - as you might expect - people are already reading into the one and a half minute-long clip.
Just 15 seconds in we get a seaside view of Vice City as a plane flies across the timeline with a suspicious looking banner, which reads: "Why Sixty Nine When You Can Nine 1 Nine?"
And immediately viewers flocked to social media to speculate on it being code for a potential release date.
"9.19.2025 Mark my Words," one person tweeted.
Another person thought: "11/15/2025 Release date of Grand Theft Auto VI."
"9/19/25 CONFIRMED," a third said while a fourth reckoned: "9th September 2025?"
However, one person has quite possibly debunked the idea of a release date, saying: "Its a reference of E11even Miami, a really famous club in Miami."
And someone else had a similar thought, adding: "This has to be an E11even parody."
I guess we'll just have to wait and see what the craic is.
