A new trailer for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.3 has just dropped during the Super Bowl ad break, and we can't get over how epic it looks. Take a look below:
The third installation of the Marvel movie saga has had a rocky production history. It was originally meant to come out in 2020, but was delayed after director James Gunn was sacked for offensive tweets in July 2018 and then rehired eight months later.

The trailer aired during the ad break for the biggest televised US sporting game of the year, the Super Bowl, and fans are losing their minds already.
The teaser starts with a rather hungover-looking Star-Lord (Chris Pratt) being stirred from his dreary slumber by Rocket Raccoon (Bradley Cooper) as Pratt says: "Let me tell you something, I'm Star-Lord. I formed the Guardians. Met a girl. Fell in love.
"That girl died... but then she came back."

He's then shoved forcefully by a disgruntled Gamora (Zoe Saldaña) and calls her a 'dick'.
The trailer is soundtracked by an epic rendition of killer 1979 anthem 'Since You've Been Gone' by Rainbow and features some incredible-looking action scenes, as well as brief-yet-harrowing snippets of Rocket Raccoon's younger years.
Complete with awesome space battle scenes and a few new characters along the way, this moving teaser has got us pumped for what's in store.
The trailer continues with punch-packing scene after punch-packing scene complimented by text reading: "This May it's time to face the music."
