Contrary to belief, you don’t have to have thousands of subscribers to earn money on OnlyFans.
It’s widely perceived that you have to be in the top one percent of OnlyFans creators to earn the megabucks.
And whilst this is true to an extent, creators with just a couple hundred subscribers can still make a decent amount from their content.

OnlyFans' highest earners
It was recently announced that Australian rapper Iggy Azalea is 2024’s top earner on the platform so far, raking in an estimated $9.2 million per month.
This is after stating that she would never hop on the bandwagon in 2021.

On X (formerly Twitter) she said: “I think OnlyFans can be really empowering for people, But I WILL NEVER, EVVVER join.
“I don't want to make that type of content & it only fucks up the bag for people on there who really bout that life. Shoutout to the baddies tho!!!!"
After joining the platform two years later, she spoke out about the reasoning behind her decision.

Talking on Emily Ratajkowski's podcast, she said: “I've made a lot of people so much money off my body, and I got the smallest cut off my own f**king body.
“It's been commodified and I wasn't even the main f**king benefactor of it. So, f**k this."
What about OF creators with only a few hundred subscribers?
So, we know how much the OF GOATS are making... but how much can you make with just a hundred subscribers?

Well the answer is actually up to you.
Creators can set their monthly subscription fee at whatever price they choose, but it usually ranges within the region of $9.99 - $14.99 (£7.89 - £11.84).
So, a creator charging $14.99 with only a hundred subscribers would still be making around $1,500 a month (£1,185), which is equal to roughly $18,000 a year (£14,221).

Whilst this probably isn’t as much as you would earn in a different full-time job, this is without taking into account other ways that creators can earn money on the platform.
Subscribers can buy personalised content for a premium price, which would top their monthly salary up.
According to Scrile, ‘for creators with less than 5000 followers, it is normal to earn from $740 to $3700 in a month’.
OnlyFans also take a 20 percent cut of all creators earnings, so they only keep 80 percent of their profits.
OnlyFans also limits the amount you can charge for certain services.
This is disadvantageous for creators, as some subscribers will pay thousands for privately sent pictures and messages.
