Jack O'Connell is currently the name on a lot of people's lips as the English actor stars in the new Netflix adaptation of Lady Chatterley's Lover.
The film is full of raunchy scene after raunchy scene and was based on the 1928 novel of the same name that was initially banned for obscenity.
Now, the actor, 32, who is best known for his role on Skins, has taken a look back at earlier sex scenes in his acting career and admitted he felt 'compromised'.

Addressing his role as James Cook in Skins, which he played almost a decade ago for the last time, O'Connell said he was 'very naive' when filming.
He was just 17 when he was cast in the popular teen drama.
O'Connell told the Independent of filming sex scenes: "It's hard to say that you're ever totally comfortable.

"Listen, I admit I was very naive at the time, enough so as to not check in with myself and question myself if I was feeling comfortable or not.
"It just felt like part and parcel of the programme in a very different time than the one we're in now."
However, the actor admitted that the film industry has changed for the better in this department, at least.
"I think what's important is that them discussions are being had to make sure that whatever was happening [on] that wasn't right, it seems, is addressed and doesn't repeat itself," he continued.

"You feel very compromised and if you don't feel that you're protected in that environment, it can be very unnecessarily daunting."
But while the actor is no stranger to nudity, he said he still has his reservations when it comes to portraying sex scenes.
"Still, there's always going to be nerves," he said.

"But listen, if it's going to push the story forward then that's that.
"Words to the effect of, if it can't be avoided, just crack on with it."
The actor then addressed working with an 'intimacy coordinator' on Lady Chatterley's Lover, explaining that such people were previously unheard of in the industry.
For the unfamiliar, an intimacy coordinator's entire job revolves around making sure that actors are entirely comfortable when it comes to filming intimate scenes.

"My career definitely predates the intimacy coordinator age," he said.
April Pearson, who played Michelle Richardson on Skins, also recently said she 'didn't feel protected' while filming.
