Jenna Ortega has confessed she had ‘no plan’ for her dance as Wednesday Addams in the hit Netflix series.
The breakout actress, 20, was given only two days to choreograph her own number for the dance. Judging by the fact it’s all over social media, she did a pretty good job.

Ortega spoke about her experience filming the scene during a recent interview on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon.
The former Disney Channel star said Wednesday director Tim Burton told her the dance would be performed to The Cramps' 'Goo Goo Muck' about a week before shooting, and two days before filming he said he was looking forward to seeing what she'd come up with.
While Burton thought his young star had been working on choreography for a while, Ortega confessed she actually had ‘no plan’.

Jenna said she ‘didn’t sleep for two days’, but she used her time to do some research and gather ideas, including watching ‘archival footage of goth kids dancing in clubs in the ‘80s'.
Well, that explains a lot….
The Scream actress also revealed a huge bombshell from behind the scenes. When speaking to NME, she said she had Covid while filming her dance.

“It’s crazy because it was my first day with Covid so it was awful to film,” she shared.
“Yeah, I woke up and – it’s weird, I never get sick and when I do it’s not very bad – I had the body aches.
"I felt like I’d been hit by a car and that a little goblin had been let loose in my throat and was scratching the walls of my oesophagus.
"They were giving me medicine between takes because we were waiting on the positive result.”

Wednesday viewers couldn’t get over the dance from episode four where the Nevermore student danced with Tyler Galpin (played by Hunter Doohan).
In the episode, the dance is performed to ‘Goo Goo Muck’, but after fans of TikTok paired the dancing clip with Lady Gaga’s 2011 song ‘Bloody Mary’ it took over the internet.
Streams for Lady Gaga’s song have increased significantly as a fans have recreate Ortega’s spooky routine, including the Gaga herself.

"BLOODY WEDNESDAY,” she wrote in the caption of her TikTok post, which has now accumulated 10.3 million views.
It must be a huge honour when the world’s biggest pop star recreates the dance you barely had time to create.
The love between the Wednesday Addams character and Gaga didn’t end there.
A tweet shared from the official Wednesday Addams Twitter account read: “I see you doing my dance moves to Lady Gaga’s ‘Bloody Mary’. I understand she is followed by little monsters. I approve.”
Gaga, real name Stefani Germanotta, gushed: “Slay Wednesday! You’re welcome at Haus of Gaga anytime (and bring Thing with you, we love paws around here).”
