Johnny Knoxville claims that his penis is still in ‘great working order’ since he suffered an injury that could have been potentially devastating back in 2007. Knoxville and co are back in cinemas soon with Jackass Forever, and you can watch the trailer for that below:
As for Johnny's Johnson is concerned, aren’t you glad you’ve received that little nugget of knowledge today?
Of course you are.
For those who are unaware, the Jackass star suffered a badly injured willy whilst performing an ill-advised stunt as part of a tribute to daredevil Evel Knievel, who himself knew a thing or two about ill-advised stunts.
However, as the famous song from Knoxville’s films goes – if you’re gonna be tough, you gotta be tough.
Now, Knoxville claims that he’s out the other side of his horrendous groin injury, and fit and firing – sorry about that – once again.
That doesn’t mean that it hasn’t been a hard road, he had to have a catheter put in for three-and-a-half years.
The 50-year-old told PEOPLE: "I broke my gym dog a number of years ago.
"That's been well documented. So much has been said about so little."
‘Gym dog’ – that’s a new one.
He continued: "The doctor said a couple centimetres down and it would've been out of commission,
“But I've had two children since then, so it's in great working order. That's too much information."
That’s probably one to wait until they’re older to tell them, Johnny.
It’s far from the first time that Knoxville has spoken about this injury, which saw him bedridden with a torn urethra for weeks after the stunt.
Yikes – torn urethra – let’s not dwell there for too long, shall we?
In 2008, Knoxville – who appears alongside his friends in Jackass Forever, out this February – explained: "I decided I could back-flip a motorcycle.
"I guess I should have decided if I could ride a motorcycle beforehand, because I can't. The bike goes about 15 feet in the air, comes down and breaks off the handlebar on my crotch."
Even during the filming of this new film he’s suffered from bumps and bruises, revealing that he suffered a ‘concussion, a broken wrist, and a broken rib too’ after being chucked from a bull whilst filming the Jackass crew’s latest effort.
It’s par for the course, though.
If you want to hang with those lads, you’re going to end up getting hurt or embarrassed – or both – at some point.
The official synopsis for Jackass Forever reads: "Celebrating the joy of being back together with your best friends and a perfectly executed shot to the ding-dong, the original Jackass crew return for another round of hilarious, wildly absurd and often dangerous displays of comedy with a little help from some exciting new cast.
“Johnny and the team push the envelope even further in Jackass Forever."
The film is in cinemas on February 4.
