Celebrity chef Gino D’Acampo has clapped back at those criticising him for kissing his daughter on the lips by telling haters to ‘get a life’.
The This Morning star posted a photo on Instagram that showed him giving affection with his eight-year-old daughter Mia.
He added a caption to the twin images, which said: “To all the haters out there……yes I still kiss my principessa on the lips, get over it and get a life."
Many came out to support the chef, saying it was perfectly natural for the father to show affection toward his children.

One person wrote: “Anyone who sees this as anything other than the love between a father & daughter is what’s wrong and the issue. if you’re sexualising this you’re not well.”
Another person commented: “How can anyone say it’s wrong to kiss your child?!?!”
A third person said: “Blooming Nora, please tell me this is a joke? My son is 20 and I still kiss and cuddle him!”
While another person wrote: “My dads 72 and I’m 41 and I kiss him on the lips too because he’s my dad.”

However, this is not the first time the iconic chef has defended himself about kissing his children, according to Daily Mail.
In a video uploaded to Twitter in December, D’Acampo was seen cuddling his daughter in bed while saying: “Last time I put a picture of me and you in bed giving kisses and cuddles a lot of people they thought it was weird.
“I thought it was nice, because we were cuddling and I love you so much.”

To which Mia said: “Why did they think it was weird?”
D’Acampo responded: “I don't know, they are the weird ones, nothing wrong with daughter and daddy cuddling in bed right? What shall we say to these weird people?”
Mia then jokingly flipped the middle finger to the camera as the chef exclaimed: “Mummy's going to kill you!”
David Beckham has received similar criticism after he was photographed kissing his children on the lips on multiple occasions, according to Perth Now.

He defended his actions in 2017 by saying: “I kiss all my kids on the lips.
“Brooklyn maybe not. Brooklyn is 18, so he might find that a little strange, but I'm very affectionate with the kids.”
