The Obi-Wan Kenobi series is in full swing on Disney+ with fans lapping up the latest Star Wars series set 10 years after Revenge of the Sith.
The series has already been full of iconic moments, so just a pre-warning, there are some spoilers ahead if you haven’t caught all three episodes just yet.
It seems Star Wars fans catching it on the Disney streaming service aren’t the only ones drinking in the nostalgia, with show lead Ewan McGregor revealing one moment that had the entire crew in attendance.

The Jedi actor revealed that the set of the series came to a standstill when Anakin Skywalker actor Hayden Christensen donned the Darth Vader suit, a decade after wearing it last.
Christensen and McGregor spoke to Entertainment Tonight about the atmosphere on set, with many of the crew members fans of the iconic series themselves.
McGregor recalled the moment Christensen walked out in the suit and the ‘amazing’ reaction from the ‘hundreds’ of Star Wars fans who appeared on the set to catch a glimpse.

He said: “I was like, ‘Why are there so many people here today?’ Hayden walks out in the suit, and I was like, ‘Oh, of course, that’s why everyone is here. Everyone is here to see this moment.'”
The actor added: “I’ve never quite seen a crew react the way they reacted when [Hayden] came on set for the first time as Vader. I mean, it was like one of the greatest moments on any film set that I have ever seen.”
While it was heavily rumoured that Christensen would be playing Vader in the series, his first encounter with Kenobi came earlier than expected.
The pair came face-to-face in a surreal battle in episode three that saw McGregor’s Kenobi see Christensen’s Vader for the first time on-screen.
We won’t reveal everything, but their duel was fiery, to say the least.

While Christensen returned as Vader in the suit, it was the original Sith Lord actor James Earl Jones who voiced the character.
Vader was an imposing figure, that’s for sure.
McGregor continued: “I’m not joking. It gave me a proper jolt of absolute fear.
“I was like, ‘Oh my God, that’s not acting. That’s real. I’m really, truly frightened right now.'”
