Fans reckon they might have figured out what the massive announcement at Old Trafford that features Liam Payne and Tommy Fury is, and it’s probably not a huge blockbuster fight, because that would probably last all of about 10 seconds.
Celebrity boxing has become a bit of a thing over the past few years, with Jake and Logan Paul, KSI, Elle Brooke and Astrid Wett, and even Tom Skinner getting in on the act.

Few of them ever end up stepping inside the ropes with a real professional.
Logan Paul fought Floyd Mayweather in an exhibition fight, but more recently Jake Paul tangled with Tommy Fury, who is admittedly early in his career, but still a professional boxer.
Anyway, Fury won that fight via a split decision, meaning he’s on to big and better things, so he probably wouldn’t be up with fighting a former One Direction member, even in front of a sold-out Old Trafford.

However, that’s exactly what they teased around an hour ago – a mocked-up poster of the pair of them facing off with the names ‘Liam Payne’ and ‘Tommy Fury’, followed by ‘this summer’ and ‘announcement tomorrow’.
The idea seems to be that they’re pretending to mock up a fight, but some of the more level-headed observers have decided that they know what the real deal is.
First off, they noted that no one has had a boxing match at Old Trafford for years – although there have been some.
Others pointed out that this year’s charity Soccer Aid football match will be held at Old Trafford on June 11.

It seems more likely that they’ll be lacing up their boots for that rather than donning the gloves for a scrap.
One person commented: “LIAM!!!! I can’t wait till tomorrow. Soccer Aid? boxing? Ahhh I need to know.”
Another said: “That Liam Payne Tommy Fury thing has got to be a Soccer Aid announcement that they're the captains or something.
“No way is Liam getting into the ring this is just a ploy for publicity (which I'm well aware I'm feeding into)”

Another wrote: “Soccer Aid! Liam is captain for England and Tommy for the ROW.”
If this is true, the pair will be joining a huge list of celebrities and stars from football and sport at the Theatre of Dreams that day.
So far, the England team boasts former stars such as Jill Scott, Paul Scholes, Jack Wilshere, Gary Cahill, and Jermain Defoe, as well as stars like Paddy McGuinness, Sir Mo Farah, Bugzy Malone, and Chunkz.

Over on the Soccer Aid World XI team they’ve got less names, but Usain Bolt will be turning up, as will Lee Mack and Mo Gilligan.
Usually, it makes a ton of money for charity, so you could easily see Fury and Payne decided that they'd want to get involved.
It's got to be better than watching an ex-One Direction singer get his head bashed in.
