The lad who won £99,999 on ITV quiz show The 1% Club has revealed he’s not actually been paid yet, despite winning the cash when he filmed the programme almost a year ago.
Fronted by Lee Mack, the show sees an audience of 100 people posed increasingly difficult questions that fewer people know the correct the answer to.
Contestants tackle the questions in hopes of reaching the final, where they can nab up to £100,000.

On last weekend’s episode, 24-year-old Daniel O’Halloran make his way right through to the final, where he had the choice between going for the £10,000 or trying to win the £99,000 prize pot - successfully scoring the latter.
O’Halloran actually filmed the show back in July last year and - somehow - managed to keep it secret from his family since then.
Speaking to the Daily Mail, he said: “A few articles have made it sound like I kept it a secret for personal gain but there was none of that.”

O’Halloran also said he’s still waiting on the cash, as it’s not due to go into his account until later this month.
He explained: “Even now I don't have the money because it comes in 30 days after the show airs.”
Unlucky fella, but rules are rules.
LADbible has reached out to ITV for comment.

O’Halloran said his family ‘went nuts’ when they found out, continuing: “I've just been so excited for it to get aired since last July, so it was just amazing to finally be able to see their reactions.
“They couldn't believe I'd managed to keep it a secret which was even better.
“They said a few things you wouldn't be able to print but they were just so proud of me.”
He ended up telling his grandmother about the win as it was ‘especially nice to share the secret’, saying she ‘did so well’ in playing along.

O’Halloran also trusted a few pals with the news, adding: “It was beyond anything I could've imagined… I thought I'd do well on the show but never imagined I'd win or even take on the final question.
“I'd like to think of myself as smart and good at working things out... I wasn't clever in school at all.
“I'm not an academic so made it through GCSEs okay but did really badly at A level.”

In a previous interview with the Daily Star, O’Halloran said he ‘lost control’ of his body when he won.
“I was running around celebrating on stage in total shock,” he recalled.
“I never thought I’d be standing there on the show, let alone winning it."
