Where would we be without the pause button?
Long gone are days when we'd have to wait until a movie finished before we could refill our drinks or run to the bathroom.

But the pause button has other uses for the viewer - some of them a little naughtier than others.
A list has been compiled of the ten most paused scenes in movies and let's just say, some of you people need to get your minds out of the gutters.

But hey, what happens between you and your remote control is your business.
Anyhow, let's go through the list.
10) Star Wars: A New Hope (1977)
Advert
Any Star Wars geek worth his salt knows about the infamous scene in the first movie where a storm trooper whacks his head off a spaceship door. It's a blink and miss it moment, so it's no surprise that viewers have been grabbing the remote to pause it.
Admittedly, it shouldn't be too surprising that these guys are a bunch of klutzes. Have you ever seen them shooting a gun?
9) Deadpool 2 (2018)
Advert
Brad Pitt's surprise cameo in this superhero flick took viewers by surprise. Pitt plays the Vanisher, a character who spends most of the movie invisible, up until the last scene.
His big reveal had viewers hitting pause in order to confirm whether or not the Mr and Mrs Smith actor had actually made an appearance.
8) The Godfather (1972)
Advert
Mafia men know how to get revenge and everyone remembers the infamous scene in this classic movie in which a decapitated horse head winds up in somebody's bed.
Not the start anybody wants to their morning.
Viewers were likely hitting pause in an attempt to discern whether or not the head belonged to a real stallion (Spoilers: It was real)
7) Fast Times at Ridgemont High (1982)
We're now entering the *cough* sensual section of the list.
First up, we have the scene where Phoebe Cates emerges from the water in this coming of age comedy from the 1980s.
6) Who Framed Roger Rabbit? (1988)
In another entry from the 1980s, viewers with a taste for the animated ladies put this film onto the list.
The scene in which the buxom Jessica Rabbit first makes her appearance earned this Disney movie a spot on the list. Why viewers were so eager to see the red haired toon is something I'll leave to your imagination.
5) American Pie (1999)
The scene in which Nadia got undressed in Jim's room may have had viewers hitting pause, but viewers sat at home weren't the only ones enjoying the view.
Jim's friends were watching Nadia through a camera and the video later got poor Nadia expelled from school. Make your own moral judgement on that one.
4) Wild Things (1998)
Denise Richards and Neve Campbell's kissing scene undoubtedly had viewers feeling a little hot under the collar. I'm sure the film makers were unaware that scene would prove popular.
In case you couldn't tell, that line was sarcastic.
3) Basic Instinct (1992)
The scene where Sharon Stone crosses her legs in a sensual manner may have gone down in infamy with viewers, but it caused a lot of issues for the actress in her personal life.
In 2004, Stone lost custody of her son primarily due to the racy scene. Whilst fighting for custody against her ex husband, a judge asked her son: "Do you know your mother makes sex movies?"
Yikes.
2) Titanic (1997)
You all knew this one was coming. The scene where Leonardo DiCaprio sketched a nude Kate Winslet has gone down in movie history (gone down much like a certain ship, you could say).
Kate and Leo's love may go on, but it wasn't enough to earn them the top spot of the most paused movie moment.
1) The Wolf of Wall Street (2013)
The honour of the most paused movie moment goes to Margot Robbie in the scene where she teases her husband, played by Leonardo DiCaprio, by opening her legs in the nursery.
The viewer may not see what Leo is seeing, but their attempts to catch a glimpse have placed this movie at the top of the list.
So, in conclusion...people are pervs.
