Mark Labbett is an English TV personality with a passion for quizzes. He has had many high-profile jobs and in 2009 was appointed a ‘chaser’ on the ITV game show The Chase.
Labbett's fans come far and wide - and all have praised his admirable weight-loss journey (he lost an incredible 10 stone!). In fact, some fans have even suggested that he be recruited as the next James Bond.
Besides the all-important news headlines, weight-loss ‘journeys’ and obligatory Twitter storms, Labbett has had a successful career that features both intellectual vigour and public eye glamour.

So, the question remains… What is the revered chaser’s net worth?
Mark Labbett Net Worth:
According to The Metro, Mark Labbett has a net worth of £1.4m. This may seem significant, but he is pipped by his fellow 'chaser' Anne Hegerty, who is worth a cool £2.8m.
Now, for the uninitiated you may be wondering what a ‘chaser’ actually is. A chaser is a professional quiz player who competes against quiz contestants in a bid to make money. The ‘chasers’ are incredibly knowledgeable and are expected to know most answers. If Mark Labbett’s CV is anything to go by, it’s reasonable to say he is a learned man.

Born in Tiverton to Carolyn and Jon Labbett, he attended Bishop Wordsworth’s School in Salisbury. From here, he gained a place at Exeter College, Oxford where he read Mathematics. In addition, he has a PGCE in Secondary Education from the University of Exeter and legal CPE and LPC qualifications from the University of South Wales.
But whilst he has racked up a pretty impressive CV and has a significant net worth, life isn't all going to plan for 'The Beast'. Last year he made headlines after he was beaten in his 'worst ever performance' on The Chase. He lost against a target of just 11!
