Cyrus took to Instagram to share an upcoming clip of her soon-to-be-released song.
And just to add a little extra sting, the video shows the singer strutting along what looks to be the streets of LA in a shimmery gold number while rocking some cool shades.
She captioned that post: “NEW YEAR, NEW MILEY, NEW SINGLE. FLOWERS JANUARY 13.”

The snippet showed Miley singing the words 'I can love me better' over and over.
Of course, the comment section ran wild, as one user wrote: “I can’t wait any longer, drop another teaser.”
Another fan commented: “Cant wait!!! It sounds like a hit already.”
While another said in part: “I am going through a brutal breakup and this just made me realise so much!!! I love you, thank you!! I'm 50 years old and you are not my typical hero, but you are so beyond your years and I wish I was more like you when I was your age!”

Cyrus revealed in 2019 that she and Hemsworth were going their separate ways after years of dating.
The ‘We Can’t Stop’ singer opened up about the divorce in a 2021 interview with Grazia, revealing that the two would probably not have married if they hadn’t lost their home in the 2018 Malibu fires.
She told the outlet: “Our house burned down. We had been like, engaged—I don’t know if we really ever thought we were actually going to get married, but when we lost our house in Malibu—which if you listen to my voice pre- and post-fire, they’re very different, so that trauma really affected my voice.”

The singer continued: “I just clung to what I had left of that house, which was me and him. And I really do and did love him very, very, very much and still do, always will.”
When citing the reason for the divorce, Cyrus revealed there was too much conflict in the relationship.
She added: “When I come home, I want to be anchored by someone. I don’t get off on drama or fighting.”
‘Flowers’ will be the first single Cyrus releases since her 2020 album Midnight Sky.
