Calling all Black Sabbath fans, Ozzy Osbourne is set to reunite with his bandmates for his final ever performance.

For the first time in 20 years, the Prince of Darkness will join original bandmates, Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler, and Bill Ward, on stage for a very special one-off concert.

Titled Back To The Beginning, the event will take place at Birmingham’s Villa Park on Saturday, 5 July, and tickets are expected to sell fast. So, how can you make sure you don't miss out on the biggest music event of the year? Find out exactly what you need to do below.

Register your interest and create an account on multiple sites

To be the first to know when tickets go live, it’s a good idea to sign up to multiple ticket retailers. For example, Ticketmaster presale tickets went on sale from 10am on Tuesday 11 February ahead of general sale which will start at 9am on Friday 14 February. You can sign up and create an account to receive ticket alerts here.

If you miss out on the first batch of presale tickets, you can also sign up to My Live Nation here. Tickets will go live at 10am on Thursday, 13 February. There is a maximum limit of six tickets per person.

Open the same browsing window on multiple devices

To make sure you have the best possible chance of securing tickets, it’s a good shout to load the site on one browser window, but across multiple devices. For instance, you can access your chosen ticket retailer on both your phone and laptop.

Solid wifi is essential here to make sure you stay connected when trying to tackle the queue.

Disconnect devices you aren't using

Uswitch Broadband expert Max Beckett recommends turning off any devices you're not using, whether that's the telly or smart speakers, as these can slow down your internet connection. This way, you're freeing up bandwidth for the important task at hand - securing tickets.

Check your speed ahead of the big day

Beckett also advises running a broadband speed test the day before. If your connection seems slower than usual, try restarting your router or contact your service provider. You could even head into the office to borrow the internet - just don't let on with your boss.

Don’t be afraid to hit refresh

According to experts, the best time to log onto the ticket site of your choice is 10 minutes before tickets go on sale - that's 9.50am for both presale and general sale. Then, you need to refresh the ticket page 10 seconds before tickets go on sale (and inevitably all hell breaks loose).

Where can you buy general tickets for Black Sabbath?

This is an exclusive event for fans who have registered their interest, so you must sign up and create an account with the ticket retailer of your choice in order to receive an exclusive ticket link. Presale tickets will go live on Live Nation at 9.45am on Thursday, 13 February. If you have 02 Priority, then tickets will go live on Wednesday, 12 February at 9.30am on the app and official website.

General sale tickets will go live for Black Sabbath on Ticketmaster and Live Nation at 10am on Friday, 14 February. As mentioned above, you must register your interest and create an account in order to purchase tickets via an exclusive link. Good luck!

When will Ozzy Osbourne perform for the last time?

Ozzy will join his OG bandmates for a final performance at Villa Park in Birmingham on Saturday, 5 July 2025. It promises to be ‘the greatest heavy metal show ever’ with special performances from some of the world’s most famous bands.

The news comes after Ozzy has suffered multiple health issues in the past. The 76-year-old has been battling Parkinson’s in recent years and would like to take this opportunity for ‘his final bow’.

In a recent interview with The Sun, Sharon Osbourne said of the announcement: "He's very happy to be coming back and very emotional about this. Parkinson's affects different parts of the body and it's affected his legs. But his voice is as good as it's ever been."

All profits from Ozzy’s final performance will be donated equally to the following charities: Cure Parkinson’s, Birmingham Children’s Hospital and Acorn Children’s Hospice.

Who will support Black Sabbath in the UK?

Black Sabbath fans will also be treated to sets from incredible heavy metal bands such as Metallica, Slayer, and Alice In Chains.

Other musicians to take to the stage include Duff McKagan of Guns ‘n’ Roses fame, Billy Corgan from The Smashing Pumpkins, Rage Against The Machine’s Tom Morello, and Fred Durst from Limp Bizkit.

How much will tickets cost?

From what we can see from Ticketmaster's presale, you will need to spend a fair bit of dosh. General admission standing comes in at £262.50 whilst gold circle standing will set you back a cool £412.50. Seated tickets are cheaper if you're quick. At the time of writing this, ticket prices range from £197.50 up to £662.50.
