We all know the absolute bangers Cascada dropped back in the day, but fans of the early 00s group have been left baffled after learning where its lead singer is from - branding it another 'Mandela Effect'.
Whether it be at random workout classes or with your mum and dad when the sun comes out, I think we can all agree that Cascada's dance hits continue to slap to this day.
The group's 2005 Eurodance tune 'Everytime We Touch' charted in the top 10 of the US Hot 100 and at number two in the UK Singles chart, but that's not all - the equally catchy 'Evacuate The Dancefloor' also seemed to usher in the dance-pop music era of the 2010s.

Cascada, which translates to 'waterfall' in Spanish, was formed in 2004 in Germany and consists of two DJs and one lead singer, who a lot of people thought were all from continental Europe.
However, following the Capital FM Summertime Ball on Sunday (16 June), a presenter managed to get an interview with the lead singer of the group, Natalie Horler.
A bubbly personality, the interview with Horler was posted in full on TikTok, where it has garnered over 124k views at the time of writing.

Fresh off her performance on stage, the viral clip starts with the artist saying how great it was to perform with DJ Jax Jones at Wembley, clearly enjoying her experience.
However, after just a few seconds, something became clear, which shocked not just the viewers, but the interviewer too.
She revealed to Horler: "I had no idea you were English, I thought you were American!"

As soon as the lead singer started speaking, a strong British accent was clear - it turns out that Natalie was born in West Germany in 1981 to British parents, so she holds dual-citizenship, though she admitted that many think that she is solely German as she lives there.
"My mum's from Romford, Essex and my dad's from Southampton!" the star exclaimed, before breaking out into hysterical laughter.
When asked her favourite thing about being British, she said it was 'the banter and the relax-ness' of the UK, giving the example of people apologising when they bump into you over here.

Horler also admitted that she stocks up on Polos when she tours in the UK, as they don't sell them out in Germany - one of the things she misses most from home.
Viewers were shocked at this revelation though, flocking to the comments to share their surprise.
One user commented: "What?? I always thought she was German, even Wikipedia thinks she’s German!"
Another put: "Why did I think she was Swedish or something, this feels like a Mandela effect"

A third said: "Thought she was German, she was in Eurovision for Germany too"
A different user posted: "She's so real, the way she could literally be someone you meet in the pub and get talking to cos she's so nice."
So there you have it - glass shattered and 'Everytime We Touch' will never sound the same again.
