Babe, wake up, Girls Aloud have been performing together again.
Yep, the iconic noughties girlband has spent recent weeks touring the UK with plenty of their absolute pop bangers.
Made up of Cheryl, Nadine Coyle, Nicola Roberts and Kimberley Walsh, it’s the first time the ‘Sound of the Underground’ singers have toured without their late bandmate Sarah Harding.

And as the special anniversary tour came to a close in Liverpool last night (30 June) the former X Factor judge stopped the show to ‘clear something up’ with the crowd.
This unexpected pause came right before Girls Aloud performed their unforgettable 2004 hit, ‘Love Machine’. Oh, get over yourself, you know the song - and you know it’s an absolute bop.
But before the women treated their fans to it for one last time on tour, Cheryl needed to set the record straight on a viral video.

In case you’re not also deep in the pop culture algorithm too, you might not have noticed a clip doing the rounds on social media of the ‘Fight for this Love’ singer from back in the day.

Since Girls Aloud announced their return last year, fans have been sharing an old video of Cheryl talking about their future in an E4 documentary, Off the Record.
"Can you imagine, a 30-odd-year-old, [singing] I’m just a love machine?" the young star says. "Nah. No thanks."
So, while she’s been travelling around the UK, singing about how she’s ‘just a love machine’ all over again, she finally addressed the viral quote - on the day of her 41st birthday.

“Liverpool, before we move onto this next one I’d just like to clear a little something up,” she told her audience, while holding up a fans’ sign which read: “Love Machine at 41? Yes please!”
Cheryl continued: “You might have seen a video floating around that is of me saying I would never perform ‘Love Machine’ in my 30s…
“OK, well if we’re going to go there, last tour I was 29, today I’m 41. I’ve never performed ‘Love Machine’ in my 30s! Ha!”
So, yeah, I guess fair enough. Thanks to the group's hiatus after 2012, the star did just about manage to swerve swinging ‘Love Machine’ as a 30-something-year-old.

Fans said the moment had them ‘creased’ as her bandmate Roberts even teased on social media before the tour began: “I don’t think Chez expected to be singing ‘Love Machine’ past 30 but she’s so here for it.”
