Starting off a lot of fans weekends on a high, many woke up to the news this morning (26 April) that Eminem is releasing a new album.
Last night, the rapper shared a trailer to announce his upcoming new music with a true crime reporter discussing the death of perhaps his most famed alter-ego, Slim Shady.
And that fits in with the album title: The Death of Slim Shady (Coup de Grace).

While many fans worry this could be the final Eminem album and others still get over the surprise of the announcement, others have been left mindblown for a different reason.
The rapper's fans are in disbelief as they uncovered a woman’s scarily accurate album prediction made back in 2021.
A user took to X to reshare a post from 8 October 2021 as they simply said ‘Yo what the f**k’. And to be fair, it’s pretty mad to read now that Eminem has released this trailer.

X user Dedee @thoughtfulbae wrote that she’d came up with an idea she thought would ‘be great for Eminem’s next project’ and shared a notes screenshot of ‘Eminem Album Concept Idea’.
Straight off the bat, scarily accurately she seemed to write her belief that ‘the album will be titled The Death of Slim Shady'.
She reckoned it would be a farewell to a ‘LEGENDARY persona’ but wouldn’t be a ‘retirement project’.

“Instead it will shock fans by introducing a more laidback lyricist that’s more focused on what he says instead of how he’s saying it,” she wrote.
“It will pay homage to iconic moments in Em’s career with Em writing a letter to Slim as a way of sharing how that persona impacted his life (both negatively and positively).”
The fan went on to describe how she believed the album would reflect on the rapper’s ‘controversies’ and the way he ‘feels about them now that he’s much older’.
Her prediction then rounded off with the album being ‘different from any other projects production wise’.

“It won’t have Dr Dre’s input,” she said, “instead it will have production from The Alchemist, 9th Wonder, Madlib, Daringer, DJ Premier, and Q-Tip.”
Fans were quick to reply today to say: “How tf did she find this out?” Others called it a ‘crazy prediction’ and said: “She’s from the future.”
That said, Dre has actually said he will be involved in the album and some think she’s wrong about ‘the lyrics or sound’. Either way, it still seems she predicted the album name.
Reacting to news of her prescience, Dedee shared a screenshot of her original tweet along with a news article showing she'd correctly predicted the name of the album, simply writing: "?????????????"
