People left speechless after seeing Glastonbury ticket prices for 2025

People left speechless after seeing Glastonbury ticket prices for 2025

Glastonbury has revealed how it'll cost for next year's festival

The price of tickets for Glastonbury 2025 have been revealed, with some festival fans left in total shock at how much you will have to fork out.

It comes after music fans have already had to deal with the eye-watering cost of how much it is to attend Oasis' long-awaited reunion tour which is also taking place next year.

With the Oasis ticket hunt still fresh in the minds of the millions who tried to get their hands on them, with many failing, attention will now turn to the likes of Glastonbury as the deadline to register for tickets gets closer.

2024 saw Dua Lipa, Coldplay and SZA headline the Pyramid Stage at Worthy Farm, with hundreds of thousands of music and art lovers descending on Somerset for the five day festival.

Looking ahead to 2025, Glastonbury will take place on Wednesday, 25 June until Sunday, 29 June.

No line-up has been revealed at this stage, with that typically happening closer to the event itself. It's also not something that has put people off, with Glasto typically selling out before we know who will be rocking up to perform.

Glastonbury ticket prices for 2025

In 2024, Glastonbury tickets cost you £355 for the entire long weekend.

It's going up for 2025, with the hottest ticket in town set to cost £378.50 (including your booking fee).

Looking back at previous years, it means the price of Glasto has gone up by a whopping 40 percent since 2019. In the time since then, Brits have dealt with the Covid pandemic and a major cost of living crisis that is still going on for so many people.

Defending the price increase back in 2023, organiser Emily Eavis said: "We have tried very hard to minimise the increase in price on the ticket but we’re facing enormous rises in the costs of running this vast show, while still recovering from the huge financial impact of two years without a festival because of Covid."

Responding to the new pricing, one X user wrote: "Just saw the new price for Glastonbury tickets and almost choked."

With another saying: "Who would pay that price for a gig where they don’t know who is playing?"

And a third added: "Bloody hell."

Others were more levelheaded, saying: "While in comparison to individual gig tickets Glastonbury is good value, it also does price out a lot of people which is a real shame."

Do I have to register for Glastonbury tickets before buying them?

Yes you do and we would recommend doing it ahead of the actual act of buying them due to it being suspended during the main ticket selling period. You can register on the Glastonbury website here.

You'll need to give basic details as well as upload a photo that is similar to what you've have on a passport.

Registration will end at 5pm on Monday, 11 November.
