There's nothing like some rough and tumble live on stage to remind us what rock and roll is all about, is there?
The frontman of Jane's Addiction turned their gig at the Leader Bank Pavilion in Boston on Friday (13 September) into fight night after deciding to air his grievances with the guitarist while in the middle of a song.
The crowd was left stunned as they watched singer Perry Farrell, 65, throw a punch at bandmate Dave Navarro, 57, before being wrestled away by crew members at the outdoor amphitheater.

Rumours regarding what sparked the shocking incident have been spreading like wildfire on social media, while a ton of Jane's Addiction fans have been left fearing it could spell the end of the iconic group.
According to concertgoers who shared their experience of the gig on X, people picked up on the fact that trouble seemed to be brewing between the music stars throughout the show.
Reports claim that Farrell was seen shouting at the guitarist as the band played their hit track, 'Mountain Song', before tensions seemingly boiled over.

As Jane's Addiction then performed 'Ocean Size', the vocalist appeared frustrated as he was seen approaching Navarro, before he then seemed to shoulder-barge him.
Despite the 57-year-old's obvious reluctance to engage in an on-stage scuffle, Farrell appeared to antagonise him before taking a swing at his pal with his fist.
Footage which has gone viral online shows how a member of the production team then intervened to try and defuse the situation, as he urged the Jane's Addiction frontman to 'stop'.
The stage lights were promptly turned down in an attempt to disguise what was unfolding as the audience jeered, but the silhouettes of several people tackling Farrell and removing him from the stage were still discernible.

Bassist Eric Avery, 59, is also said to have got involved in restraining the singer.
Fans have heaped praise on Navarro - who only rejoined Jane's Addiction back in May as the original line-up reunited for their first show in fourteen years - for the way he handled the situation.
After incredibly attempting to finish his guitar outro while Farrell was bounding over to him, he was then spotted chatting to crew members and musing around the stage, clearly stunned by what had happened.

Despite playing just nine songs, the gig was cut short following the incident.
The fight has also plunged the future of the band's long-awaited reunion tour into doubt, as many of their supporters suspect this could spell the end of Jane's Addiction.
One said: "We may have just seen the last Jane's Addiction show ever."
Another wrote: "Not cool, not fair to the fans either, shame on Perry. A band works together, not fighting each other."
A third added: "I love how Navarro is still playing the guitar outro even while Ferrell is attacking him. That’s commitment."

While someone else chimed in: "For sure that this was the last day of J Addiction."
Moments after Farrell was bundled off stage, Navarro, Avery, and drummer Stephen Perkins, 57, put on a united front as they headed back out together and hugged, before gesturing to the crowd and making peace signs.
Jane's Addiction have various shows scheduled across the US up until October, but it remains unclear whether these gigs will still go ahead.
LADbible has contacted the band's and Farrell's representatives for comment.
