Oasis fans were left disappointed when a star made a special appearance alongside Liam Gallagher last night (21 September) - and no, it's not who you're thinking.
The famed brother took to the stage at London’s Wembley Stadium for Anthony Joshua’s heavyweight title fight against Daniel Dubois.
And since the Oasis reunion was announced, rumours began circulating that Noel Gallagher might join him for a surprise performance.

Yep, some fans really believed the first time the brothers reunited on stage in nearly 15 years would be at a boxing match.
But, shock, that’s not quite what went down. Although, Liam did perform three Oasis hits: ‘Rock n’ Roll Star’, ‘Supersonic’ and ‘Cigarettes and Alcohol’.
And while there were some viewers complaining about his performance and singing, the 52-year-old responded on X by simply writing: “F**K THEM SPUNKBUBBLES.”

In another response to a fan, Liam claimed there were three guitars on that stage and he ‘couldn’t hear one’.
While Oasis fans might have been disappointed not to see the two brothers on the stage, there was some form of a reunion of the legendary band in the form of one of those guitars.
Former Oasis bassist Paul ‘Bonehead’ Arthurs joined Liam on stage, as he has done for his Definitely Maybe tour this year.

The 59-year-old is actually co-founder of the band and while it’s not been definitely confirmed he will be on the reunion tour, it does seem likely.
That didn’t stop fans moaning on X last night though as one wrote: “Bonehead but no Noel,” with a crying face.
But one argued: “Watching Liam Gallagher, Bonehead and three randoms play all Oasis songs in front of a city banner and a row of JCM 900s, played with Sheratons and Rivieras is pretty similar to watching Liam Gallagher, Bonehead, Noel Gallagher and three randoms play all Oasis songs etc… tbh.”

Others saw it as an alright trade as they wrote: “No Noel but there is a Bonehead.”
And another simply put: “Bonehead n Liam beautiful.”
Since Liam and Noel announced they would finally be coming together once again, there’s been a fair bit of speculation about who else would join them on the reunion tour.
When a fan asked on X about which other musicians would be there, Liam wrote: “Good question there could be a few new faces just to freshen things up.”

But surely Bonehead will be there, he’s got to be, right?
