Oasis extend pre-sale ballot entry as fans still waiting on confirmation emails

Oasis extend pre-sale ballot entry as fans still waiting on confirmation emails

Demand for Oasis tickets is set to be astronomical

Oasis has issued a huge update to its presale ballot as countless fans look to secure tickets to the reunion tour.

With Liam and Noel Gallagher burying the hatchet, the band will embark on a 17 date UK and Ireland tour in 2025 with every concert set to sell out within minutes.

Ahead of that, a presale is set to take place on Friday with a limited number of tickets set to be released, with fans desperate to secure their place in the crowd ahead of the madness that will be the general sale on Saturday morning.

More than one million tickets will go on sale at 9am on Saturday, with the tickets for the Irish dates going on sale at 8am.

Now, Oasis has issued a new statement extending the deadlines in relation to the presale.

The presale was confirmed on the evening of the reunion announcement on Tuesday, with fans asked to sign up to the ballot for the chance of getting tickets earlier than the weekend.

To secure your place in the presale ballot, you have to confirm your spot when organisers email you thanking you for submitting your case.

And those successful have been told by tour organisers that they would be sent their access code for the presale by midday on Friday, while also stressing that access to the presale does not guarantee tickets.

Now, that timeline has been updated following on from a 'surge' in demand for the presale ballot ahead of its deadline of 7pm on Wednesday evening.

The update concerns the time by which you must confirm your entry, as well as when you will be contacted with a presale access code if you have been successful in securing a spot in the presale.

In a statement on X, the band said: "Due to a last minute surge in pre-sale ballot entries, a number of confirmation emails are still being processed and sent out.

"The deadline to confirm your entry has now been extended to 10am BST tomorrow morning (Friday 30 August).

"If successful in the ballot, you will be contacted tomorrow by 5pm BST with pre-sale access information.

"Thank you for your patience."

No exact time for the presale has been confirmed at this stage.

Where can I buy Oasis tickets?

Fans will be able to buy tickets in the general sale from 9am on Saturday, 31 August from Ticketmaster, SEE Tickets and GIGSANDTOURS. The Dublin concerts will go on sale an hour earlier at 8am.

Tickets will be limited to four per household, per show. Under 14s will not be allowed and those under 16 will have to be accompanied by an adult.
