It seems even Liam and Noel Gallagher might be getting a bit nervous about just how much demand there is for Oasis tickets, as the brothers have now announced they have organised a pre-sale ballot.
In an attempt to give all music fans a fair chance, the Gallaghers announced that people can chuck their names in the hat and hopefully have a chance to purchase a ticket before the madness on Saturday (31 August) morning.
In a post shared across multiple social media platforms, Oasis explained how it will all work.

Taking to Instagram, the band wrote: "A ticket pre-sale will be held on Friday 30th August, ahead of Saturday’s general sale.
"To ensure the maximum number of fans have a fair opportunity to access tickets, applicants will be selected for the pre-sale via a ballot.
"Ballot registration is open now and will close at 7pm BST, this Wednesday 28th August. Register via the link in bio.
"Successful applicants will receive an email with full access information the morning of Friday 30th August.

"Success in the ballot will not guarantee tickets. Tickets will be allocated on a first come first served basis."
Well, what are you waiting for?
Don't worry, it's not just a complete free-for-all either, as Liam and Noel have included a question in the sign-up process which fans have to answer.

It's Oasis themed, of course.
However, the pre-sale ballot hasn't exactly gone as planned, as hundreds of fans who rushed to sign up for it have been complaining that they did not receive a confirmation email.
And according to the web page, this is an essential component which ensures you a spot in there.
After registering, a pop-up explains: "Nearly there...A confirmation email has been sent to your registered email address. Please follow the link to confirm your entry."

But if the comments on Oasis' latest post are anything to go by, it appears the page might have crashed due to the sudden influx of activity, as hundreds social media users have complained that they haven't received anything.
One wrote: "THE EMAIL DOESN'T ARRIVE FIX IT IM GONNA THROW UP."
Another said: "What do we do if we didn’t receive email confirmation???"
A third added: "Stressing, no email through yet. Then the stress of it not working is sending me through the roof."

A fourth wrote: "Not had confirmation email to verify. Guessing website crashed?"
This article contains affiliate links and LADbible Group might make a commission on anything purchased.
While a fifth chimed in: "No confirmation email. Saturday morning is going to be carnage."
As you can see, there's a general sense of panic in the air about this supposed pre-sale malfunction.
Following all the complaints in the comment section of the social media post, the website updated its message to explain that: "Confirmation emails may be delayed due to an extremely high volume of entries."
The pre-sale ballot sign-up window began tonight (27 August) at 7.00pm and closes at the same time tomorrow.
Explaining the T&C's, the website states: "All successful ballot entrants will receive their code from oasismynet on Friday 30th August 2024 by 12pm BST. If you do not receive an email, your application has not been successful.
"Successful ballot entrants can claim a maximum of one code.
"Codes have no cash value, and are non-transferable, case-sensitive, and good for one-time use only for limited tickets during pre-sale window. The code must be used with the email address to which they were originally sent."
Just like there are restrictions surrounding Saturday's general sale, anyone who is lucky enough to earn a spot in the pre-sale can only purchase up to four tickets per person.
Oasis have also urged fans to 'register in advance of the sale with the relevant ticket agencies' to avoid disappointment.
But it's worth having a look at our guide to purchasing resale tickets just incase you don't get them yourself - as you could end up with them being cancelled if you don't play by the rules.
Where can I buy tickets?
Fans will be able to buy tickets from 9am on Saturday 31st August from Ticketmaster, SEE Tickets and GIGSANDTOURS.
