Calling all metal heads, Slayer has announced their long-awaited return to the UK, with two massive summer shows to look forward to.

The American thrash-metal band last performed on this side of the world six years ago, as part of The Farewell Tour. To mark 40 years since forming, fans will be thrilled to learn that Slayer are returning to the UK to perform two massive headline shows at Cardiff’s Blackweir Fields and London’s Finsbury Park in July, 2025.

The two-time Grammy Award winners famously announced that they were calling it a day back in January 2018, but went on to perform live at a number of summer festivals in the US last year. Their upcoming UK shows are the biggest performances they have lined up in Europe this year.
