Netflix have just confirmed that the popular drama series, The Lincoln Lawyer, has been renewed for a second season.
The Netflix twitter account confirmed it by tweeting “LA’s finest lawyer is back”, with a video of Manuel Garcia-Rulfo, who plays the lead hot-shot lawyer, Mickey Haller. The news of its renewal has come as no surprise given the popularity of season 1.
The first series of The Lincoln Lawyer launched on Netflix on May 13 and has sustained its place in the Netflix Global Top 10 chart ever since. The crime drama reached the top 10 in 90 countries and has been watched for over 260 million hours worldwide.

When Will The Lincoln Lawyer Season 2 Be Released?
While the release date for season 2 has not yet been confirmed, we know that season 1 of the show was picked up by Netflix 18 months before it was released on the streaming platform. If this is any indication, fans can hope that season 2 will be with us by 2023.

There is no official trailer for season 2 as of yet, however the Netflix twitter account gave fans a little sneak peek visual for season 2 of the lead character, Mickey Haller, in his well-known Lincoln car.
We also know that season 2 is going to consist of 10 episodes, mirroring the episode arc of season 1. If the first season is any indication, we can expect lengthy episodes of up to an hour long.

It has also been confirmed that season 2 will be based off the fourth book in Michael Connelly’s Lincoln Lawyer series, titled, The Fifth Witness.
Who Is In The Cast Of The Lincoln Lawyer Season 2?
Manuel Garcia-Rulfo will be returning as the well-liked heartthrob lawyer, along with several other familiar faces. Returning actors include; Neve Campbell as Maggie, Becki Newton as Lorna, Angus Sampson as Cisco, and Jazz Raycoleas Izzy.
