Netflix viewers say the new movie Nowhere had them on their ‘edge of their seat’ and ‘screaming at the TV’.
The nail-biting flick was added to the streaming platform late last month and soon made its way into the ‘most watched’ list. You can check out the trailer here:
The Spanish-language film centres on pregnant Mia (played by Anna Castillo) who becomes separated from her partner Nico (played by Tamar Novas) when they are forced to flee their country after a totalitarian government takes over.

In a desperate bid to escape, Mia stows away inside a container on a boat, but a violent storm hits - sending the container crashing into the ocean, with her still tucked away inside.
Trapped inside the container, Mia gives birth, forcing her to fight for her survival and protect her newborn baby. Sounds tense AF, if you ask me, and it turns out the gripping drama has proved to be a huge hit with viewers.
In a post on the Netflix Bangers Facebook page. one person said: "It’s worth watching! Had me holding my breath for three whole minutes. But really absolutely worth watching 10/10.”

Another wrote: “That was so good. Had me holding my breath a couple of times and is one of the few movies that I'll watch over and over.”
A third commented: “Really enjoyed watching. It had me on the edge of my seat not knowing what would happen next but it was definitely worth a watch.”
Someone else added: “Wow! Fantastic! I was on the edge of my seat screaming at the TV at times. Survival mode was definitely on!”

A fifth fan praised: “Absolutely amazing. I was glued to the TV. Worth watching. Though I kept on pausing it because my heart was racing too much.” Maybe not for those of a nervous disposition then, eh?
But while viewers seem to be bowled over, it’s fair to say that critics aren’t as impressed with Nowhere currently holding a 62 percent rating, on review aggregator site Rotten Tomatoes - although it’s probably worth noting that the score is only based on 13 reviews. Meanwhile, on IMDB it holds a 6.4 out of 10 - from a much more broad pool of 17,000 votes.
If you fancy finding out what it’s like for yourself, then you’re in luck because Nowhere is available to stream on Netflix now.
