These days, Wrexham is very much the new Hollywood, with it not proving too tricky to find a famous star in the Welsh town on a match day.
Imagine saying that three years ago.
For those not too familiar with the Hollywood tale, Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenny purchased Wrexham A.F.C. in November 2020.

At the time, many footy fans asked the question as to why such big Hollywood names would want to purchase a fifth-tier football club.
Nonetheless, they have certainly proved any doubters wrong, Having invested heavily in the local community, and secured promotion to League Two last night (22 April) with a 3-1 victory over Boreham Wood.
Reynolds and McElhenny have been regular figures at the Racecourse Ground in recent years, but they have also brought some of their Hollywood friends to North Wales as well.

For Saturday's crucial game against Boreham Wood, Ant-Man star Paul Rudd was in attendance, with him joining fans in the pub pre-match.
Rudd was spotted drinking beer and singing songs with the Wrexham supporters in The Turf Pub, which is just minutes away from the Racecourse.
But while all the attention was on Rudd, many fans actually didn't notice he was joined by another Hollywood star in Wales.
And this name is no small name either, as he has actually directed many Marvel films in his time.

But somehow, many people in Wrexham, plus people online watching the videos, hadn't spotted him.
It is none other than film director Joe Russo, and now some fans on social media are pointing out that the Marvel director was also in attendance while all the limelight shone on Rudd.
Replying to a video saying that the Ant-Man actor was at Wrexham, one person on Twitter wrote: "Put some respect on Joe Russo's name please."

That same Twitter user added on a second video: "It's mad that Joe Russo was right there...only the director of multiple Marvel films and no one bothered to mention him."
Meanwhile, a second person remarked: "That’s Joe Russo there too! One of the directors of Avengers."
Russo and Rudd's Wrexham appearance comes after fellow Hollywood star Will Ferrell was spotted in the same pub in February.
Of course, the star was quickly spotted by members of the public who couldn't resist snapping pictures of the actor in the unexpected setting.

That day, Wrexham played Wealdstone, also winning the game 3-1. So, these Hollywood A-listers certainly seem to bring a bit of luck.
