People have taken to social media to highlight a scene from The Dark Knight which they're now finding hilarious.
At one point in the film, Harvey Dent is lying in a hospital bed recovering from his injuries after half of his face was blown off in an explosion.
He wakes up to notice that there's a nurse next to him but somehow doesn't realise that the 'member of staff' is actually the Joker himself, played by the late Heath Ledger.
Viewers can see Dent looking up at the Joker without flinching before he pulls off his face mask to show his entire face.
At which point Dent freaks out and begins jerking around in the hospital bed while his breathing becomes frantic.
Taking to Twitter pointing out the absolutely, blatantly obvious, one person wrote: "Rewatching The Dark Knight and I'm crying at how Harvey Dent ain’t know it was the Joker until he took off the mask."
The tweet has racked up almost 50,000 retweets and currently had over 380,000 likes as well as 9.6 million views.
Commenting on the video, one person asked: "how did this make its way past multiple editors, cast members, producers etc?"
Another wrote: "He already knew he was the joker, he was just mad that joker was no longer following recommended CDC guidelines."
A third said: "The Dark Knight is actually pretty sloppy, with a bunch of annoying things like this that people somehow just ignore. Like a school bus that drives OUT OF A BANK and just joins a caravan, no questions asked."
It's worth noting that this isn't the first time the scene was pointed out because back in 2015 Asher Perlman, a writer on The Late Show, wrote: "#tbt to when Harvey Dent couldn't tell it was The Joker until he saw his WHOLE FACE."
He followed this up on 9 January saying: "Every time this clip goes viral, I think back to this tweet from 2015 and can't help but wonder if I'd be a millionaire by now if mine had better quality video."
This might not be the dollar you were hoping for but there's your recognition, Asher. We've got you.
