Rick Ross doesn’t mind getting stuck in with the DIY if it means it’ll save him a bit of cash, having previously admitted he likes to mow his own lawn to save a whopping $1 million (£708,000) a year - and now, he’s been at it with the chainsaw.
The rapper has been lopping down a bunch of trees at his house to avoid paying ‘$10,000’ (£7,456) for someone else to do it. Watch the footage of him cutting them down here:
The rapper told his followers on Instagram how he needed to chop down 10 huge oak trees in the grounds of his 235-acre Atlanta area estate for the sake of his farm animals.

He'd been quoted $10,000 - $1,000 per tree - to get the job done by a professional, but decided he could simply do it himself.
"I just got my estimate, I got like 10 trees I want to cut down," he said in a video.
"They say, 'Them big trees, them big oak trees, Rozay.'

"I said, 'I don't care. I need them cut down. They f***ing up the vibe right there.'
"N**** told me $1,000 a tree for 10 trees, that's $10,000."
He continued: “I just told my homie, ‘You go to Home Depot and you go get me the biggest motherf***in’ saw there is with a big chain, and you crank that motherf***er. Imma cut the trees down.’ You heard me?

"The thing about business, I’m hands on so Imma handle my own… Hold on, I need someone to hit Kanye and tell Kanye I need some of them boots, I’m going to cut the tree down. I need some boots. Yeezy! I need them boots, baby!”
The footage soon went viral after being shared on other social media sites like Twitter, where one user wrote: "Rick Ross really having the damn time of his life lmaooo I love it."
Someone else commented: "Rick Ross is the best thing on the internet right now. Keep this s*** coming, @RickRoss."
A third said: "My man is LIVING."

Ross has previously spoken about how he even prefers to mow the lawn himself, despite living in a sprawling $5.8m (£4.1m) mansion.
Back in 2014, the 45-year-old rapper decided to splash out on a huge estate in Fayetteville, Georgia, which famously used to belong to former world heavyweight boxing champion Evander Holyfield.
The lavish estate - which Ross added 87 acres to in 2019 - includes a 350,000-gallon swimming pool and a dining room that seats 100.

However, with all that luxury also comes a lot of responsibility, as Ross found out when he moved to the area, having heard from locals that Holyfield reportedly spent more than $1m annually to keep the lights on and the grass cut on the estate.
Speaking to Forbes, the rapper explained: "When I bought the Fayetteville estate, locals would see me walk out of a restaurant and scream, 'You know Holyfield spent $1m a year to cut the grass'.
"So I decided that I was gonna cut my own grass. And that's what I did.
"I bought it right then and there. I bought the extended attachment on the back that would cut even wider. Once I got it back home, I filled it up with gas.
"I may have sat in the same spot for two hours before I got everything working, but once I got it going, I didn't stop. I cut grass for about five hours."
Ross explained that sitting in his air-conditioned tractor, which also has a radio and tinted windows, brings him a 'whole other level of peace', and helps him connect with the estate and its wildlife.
He continued: "I sit there and have my cannabis rolled up, and, man, I look at the property and can appreciate my struggles and my triumphs, those rough days. It's the smallest thing, but it keeps a smile on my face.
"So, you know, for anybody who doesn't cut their own grass, I would say take time out every two or three months to cut your grass because it is such a great and peaceful sensation."
