You’ve heard the news, Rihanna is making her seven-year comeback to music. Now let’s dive in, dissect the information, chill out a bit, and then get ten times more hyped all over again. This is not a drill, people…
The internet has gone well and truly wild over the announcement that Rihanna will be headlining the halftime Super Bowl show, and we can’t blame them.
She will be following in the footsteps of Beyoncé, Eminem, J.Lo, Prince, Madonna, and we know the queen is not going to disappoint.
What is Rihanna’s halftime setlist?
Whilst her official setlist is yet to be announced, it is likely to be packed with some of her biggest hits. Just as a reminder, a lot of her tracks feature some very big names within the industry.

The Barbados-born singer announced her exciting news by posting a picture of her hand holding up an American football, which has since racked up over seven million likes. We're not saying it's a big deal or anything, but it's a pretty big deal.
UK fans will be able to stream the event live on ITV1 or Sky Sports, but it is unfortunately going to be a late one for all of us.
Kick-off is expected to start at around 23:30 on February 12, meaning that the halftime extravaganza should commence at 1:30am, but depending on the timings of the game, it could be even later.
Will Rihanna bring out any surprise guests?
Advert
This is the Super Bowl we’re talking about, so expect the unexpected, and prepare to be blown away.
While there hasn’t and probably won’t be any official guest announcements, many of Riri’s hits from over the past twenty years have had mega-star features, including the likes of Jay-Z, Eminem, Calvin Harris, Drake and David Guetta.
Looking at this list of stars, it would be rash to suggest that there will be no special guests, and it’s looking pretty likely that there will be a few surprises. This is the Super Bowl after all.
It has been suggested that the queen and her creative team have put together a list of 50 possible artists that could take to the stage and perform with her. That’s looking to us like quite a tricky decision.
