Robert Irwin thought he was posting a harmless video to TikTok this week when he shared a video from Halloween.
But when the 18-year-old wildlife expert uploaded the sweet clip of his costume, all hell broke loose in the comment section.
You see, fans took one look at Robert's costume and assumed that he had dressed up as infamous serial killer Jeffrey Dahmer. Take a look:
Okay, sure, I can see the resemblance. The blonde hair definitely isn't doing him any favours.

But surely anyone who's familiar with The US Office would recognise almost immediately that Robert is dressed up as Assistant to the Regional Manager at Dunder Mifflin, Dwight Schrute.
And if the outfit or the quotes didn't give it away, surely Robert's caption would have helped out confused followers, since it read: "Bears. Beets. Battlestar Galactica. Happy Halloween from Dunder Mifflin’s Australia Zoo Branch!"
Despite all the clues, people are obviously still quite mentally scarred from Netflix's true crime series Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story.
The Ryan Murphy creation topped the Netflix charts for weeks after it first premiered back in September, with scenes so gruesome that it left viewers feeling queasy.

Unfortunately for Robert, Dwight Schrute wears very similar glasses to Jeffrey Dahmer. And with his blonde hair, the resemblance only gets stronger.
After catching Robert's video on TikTok, shocked followers rushed to the comments to discuss what they thought was a crude impression of one of the world's most notorious serial killers.
"Jeffrey Dahmer?" asked one viewer.

"Jesus dude I got Dahmer vibes at first," admitted a second.
And a third, furious TikToker wrote: "Tell me he's not dressed as Jeffrey Dahmer on Halloween. Cause if he is then byeeee."
Unfortunately, even the classic yellow shirt wasn't enough to save Robert, and convinced some viewers that he was dressed up as drug lord and chicken king Gus Fring from Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul.

"Y’all talking about Dahmer I thought he was Gus Fring", confessed one viewer.
"Bro I thought he was dressed as Gus", another agreed.
Poor Robert just wanted to be a simple Dunder Mifflin employee and beet farmer and look what's happened.
Thankfully, though, most people got Robert's costume, and were able to set the record straight.

"Guys he’s clearly dressed as Dwight from The Office and not Dahmer, have you guys not heard these lines before?" wrote one person.
"He literally quoted Dwight how can you guys be confused who he’s dressed as????" commented a second.
