Eastenders fans have been left in shock after spotting the actress from the iconic scam advert in an episode.
Katharine Bennett-Fox has become well known for her appearance in a Barclays' television advert that raises awareness of fraud and the ways in which scammers target people over the phone.
However, she also featured on an episode of Eastenders on Wednesday, 18 May.

Fans have been left in stitches over her appearance and the character the actress plays.
Bennett-Fox appeared in the soap as the character of fake estate agent Melissa.
In the episode, Melissa can be seen conspiring with Walford villain Janine. Janine's plot is fuelled by her jealousy towards Linda and her fear that Mick will try and get back with her.

Janine subsequently bribes Linda with £25,000. However, Linda demands double.
Janine sees an opportunity to scam Zack and Nancy after they agree to sign a lease for a new restaurant space.
She hires Melissa – a fake estate agent – to retrieve a 'two-year deposit' from the pair of £50,000 upfront.
One viewer took to Twitter in surprise: "Not Eastenders casting the 'it's a scam' lady to play... a scam artist!"

One user said: "That woman plays a scam artist in one of the adverts for fraud...wearing a headset dressed in a suit...
"I think she's playing one on this as well... I think that 50,000 has just gone right into her bank."

One viewer said how 'obsessed' they were that Bennett-Fox appeared in the soap 'to scam the carters'.

Bennett-Fox left viewers chilled to the bone in the Barclay's advert.
"She scares me every time she's on," Sky News presenter Gillian Joseph said.
"Tell me about it. I can’t watch it at night before I go bed," a Twitter user responded.
A third said: "That ad/PSA was a brilliant little horror movie because of her performance."
Giving off a similar vibe to Eastender's Janine, Bennett-Fox was stated by another user as looking like 'she's had three ex-husbands who all died suddenly in questionable circumstances'.
