Andrew Garfield has revealed he improvised one of the most emotional lines of Spider-Man: No Way Home.
Fans absolutely lapped up the multiverse live-action between Andrew Garfield, Tobey Maguire and Tom Holland in No Way Home in December, making it the second most-successful Marvel movie to date (just behind Avengers: Endgame).
No Way Home saw the three Peter Parkers coming together to battle some of the most iconic villains of all of the Spider-Man movies, including Green Goblin and Dr Octopus, and the love between the three Spideys wasn’t just for the cameras. Tobey revealed in an interview with Variety that one of the most emotional one-liners of the film came straight from the heart.

“There’s a line I improvised in the movie, looking at [Maguire and Holland] and I tell them I love them. That was just me loving them,” he told the publication.
Speaking of his experience on set with two fellow Spideys, he said, “I think the first time we were all in the suit together, it was hilarious because it’s like just three ordinary dudes who were just actors just hanging out. But then also, you just become a fan and say, ‘Oh my god we’re all together in the suits and we’re doing the pointing thing!’”

“We would have deeper conversations, too,” he explained. “And talk about our experiences with the character. And to have Amy Pascal there, who has seen through nine movies, including “Spider-Verse.” It was a revelatory experience for her, realizing how much life and time she’d given to this character. That was beautiful and profound.”
Spider-Man fans are now eagerly awaiting any updates on what will happen with Spider-Man next, with the end of No Way Home suggesting there’s more to come from Tom Holland and his co-stars.
