Between the advent calendars, parties, and a new festive film starring Ryan Reynolds, it's hard not to be hyped.
And Spirited, Apple TV+ $75 million addition to the Christmas movie scene, is already getting rave reviews.
For those not familiar with the film, it stars our absolute faves Reynolds and Will Ferrell in a modern-day retelling of Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol.
As the official synopsis reads: "Each Christmas Eve, the Ghost of Christmas Present (Will Ferrell) selects one dark soul to be reformed by a visit from three spirits.

"But this season, he picked the wrong Scrooge. Clint Briggs (Ryan Reynolds) turns the tables on his ghostly host until Present finds himself re-examining his past, present, and future.
"For the first time, A Christmas Carol is told from the perspective of the ghosts in this hilarious musical twist on the classic Dickens tale."
Sounds like loads of fun, right?

And given the film's all-star cast and talented director Sean Anders (Horrible Bosses 2, That’s My Boy, and Instant Family), it's safe to say it's in good hands.
It paid off, with fans taking to Twitter to share their love of the film, one fan wrote: "you guys NEED to watch #Spirited on apple tv+ or in theaters when it releases on Friday. I just got to watch it tonight, and I absolutely loved it. both will ferrell & ryan reynolds were amazing in it. it’s a film with a lot of laughs, lots of heart and just a dash of judi dench."
While another person said: "Spirited is so much fun. Ryan Reynolds and Will Ferrell are great together and the film definitely plays to their strengths. I loved all of the original songs by Benj Pasek & Justin Paul but That Christmas Morning Feelin' and Good Afternoon are definitely my favorites. #Spirited."

A third added: "#Spirited is a delightful new Christmas comedy that offers a wholly fresh take on "A Christmas Carol". @VancityReynolds and Will Ferrell are unsuprisingly dynamite on screen. An instant classic and a Christmas movie I will be watching every holiday season. *89/100."
If those aren't some stellar reviews, we don't know what are.
And, well, we know what's first up on our Christmas-watching list.
