Casa Amor is kicking off in the Love Island villa, as last night saw the first full episode dedicated to this season’s round of the challenge.
For the first time in three years, the girls have been sent off to the Casa Amor villa in a surprise twist for the series, reversing the tradition of the male contestants going on effectively a lads holiday.
While the female contestants are busy lounging in the sun and entertaining this year’s Casa Amor hunks, a whole lineup of new girls have taken over the main villa, hosted by the male islanders who have been kept behind.

This year sees a total of 12 new islanders taking part in the Casa Amor challenge – 6 boys and 6 girls.
On 2nd July, Love Island announced that Summer Botwe will be part of the lineup, and she has already attracted the attention of fans on social media for her gorgeous cast picture, which are renowned for not doing the islanders justice when it comes to their actual looks.
But, who is Summer Botwe, and what can we expect from her this season?
Who is Summer Botwe?
Summer Botwe is 22 years old, and comes from Hertfordshire, UK. At her impressive young age, she is already the owner of an events decor business, SC Decor.

She is also bound to fit in with this season’s cast, being one of the many islanders this season to have a famous parent.
Her dad is the award winning DJ, MC CKP, meaning she joins contestants Gemma Owen, daughter of Michael Owen, and Jack Keating, the son of Boyzone singer Ronan Keating, in the famous families club.
Summer even appeared alongside her famous dad in a guest appearance on popular British soap, Eastenders, in a scene which also starred Lacey Turner as Stacey Slater.

The islander has also built up an impressive following of 55.3K followers on Instagram and 10.6K followers on TikTok, where she posts short snippets of her luxurious holidays, the most recent being in the popular influencer location of Dubai.

Before entering the villa, Summer admitted to being competitive, and confessed that she has her eye on Dami Hope, who is currently coupled up with Indiyah Polack, who she thinks is the “full package.”
Fans can expect Summer to be a key instigator of drama throughout Casa Amor this year, as she has stated “I am putting my best foot forward and I’m not wasting any time getting to know people.”
So, while existing couples face the threat of splitting over this season’s new eye candy, Summer has established herself as the perfect trouble-making contestant for the Casa Amor challenge.
Fans will just have to stay tuned to see if Summer can sway Dami, breaking up one of this season’s most loved couples, or if he’ll turn a blind eye to her advances.
