Taylor Swift has announced her 10th studio album is on the way and fans could not be more pumped.
The 32-year-old made the big reveal at the 2022 MTV Video Music Awards as she accepted her accolade for Video of the Year for the 'All Too Well (10 Minute Version) (Taylor’s Version)' short film.
She said the win encouraged her to drop the big news.
“My brand new album comes out October 21,” Swift said, sending seismic-waves of excitement through her fan base around the world.

"I will tell you more at midnight," she teased.
As the clock struck 12 (local time), Swift said the upcoming record would be called Midnights, and the songs will be based on 'the stories of 13 sleepless nights scattered throughout my life'.
Her new album drops on October 21... which just so happens to be Kim Kardashian's birthday and National Reptile Day.
These dates are massive dig at Kardashian and we are so here for it.

Fans didn't miss a beat, with TikTok lighting up as people connected the dots.
Swift was mercilessly bullied online in 2016 after Kanye West called her 'that b***h' in a song, which she did not approve.
Kardashian claimed she had proof and dropped the 'truth' on National Snake Day.

Swift disappeared from public life for more than 12 months due to the online bullying from Kardashian-West fans, but it later turned out that Kim hadn't been telling the truth.
The full, unedited recording dropped in 2020, proving she never agreed to that lyric.
Now vindicated, Swift uses snakes as a symbol of empowerment in her costumes, on her Reputation tour, and in her 'Look What You Made Me Do' music video.
Kanye also famously snatched Taylor's MTV VMA out of her hand back in 2009, humiliating the young musician in front of a room full of her peers.

Also, Swift announced her new album on the one year anniversary of the release of West's album DONDA.
So October 21 - Kim Kardashian's birthday, National Reptile Day, announcing her new album at the VMAs and on the first birthday of DONDA.
Honestly, no one serves up shade like Swift.
There is undoubtedly more coming when Midnights drops, and we'll be ready to decode it all when it's here.
