A doctor has revealed a common, yet subtle, sign of adult ADHD which you can spot around the house.
According to the NHS, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) is a condition that sees people suffer from restlessness, a possible lack of concentration and feeling the need to act on impulse.
Although ADHD symptoms can be noticed at an early age, sometimes it takes until adulthood for people to get officially diagnosed.

Adults who have the condition usually have problems with organisation and time management, following instructions, focusing and completing tasks and coping with stress.
One doctor revealed 12 questions he would ask to find out if someone has ADHD, and now another has revealed a tell-tale sign to look out for that's not that well known.
Dr Sermed Mezher (@drsermedmezher), an award-winning doctor from London, has revealed why some people with ADHD do a very common walk around the house.

The YouTube doctor - who is 'on a mission to make health simple' - took to TikTok last year to explain why people at home often find themselves doing the 'ADHD' swaying walk.
"A 2015 study by Hove and colleagues tried to answer that very question," he said.
"They took 32 patients with ADHD and then 28 who didn't have it and got them to balance on a Wii balance board.
"They also imaged the coordination part of the patients' brains to see if there were any differences between the two and what they found was quite interesting.

"They found that the ADHD group had increased difficulty balancing on the board.
"They also found the area of their brain that controls coordination, which is this cerebellum, had some changes in ADHD from the right posterior area.
"That explains why people with ADHD throughout their childhood were more likely to bump into things, get caught in things, and just generally be a bit more clumsy.

"The evidence shows that these changes are still there into adulthood, so patients with this have learned to compensate for it by swaying against objects to avoid an impact."
Viewers were shocked by the Dr Mezher's observations on ADHD, as one person commented: "OMG, I had no idea I did this because of ADHD. I thought everyone did this."

"Yep, but still misjudge the distance and hit whatever object anyway," another added.
"Mystery leg and hip bruises club! I don’t even recognize impacts as an event worth remembering anymore XD," someone else said.
"Still do it to this day been doing it for years my family used to ask me why I do it and it's cause exactly that I was avoiding hitting things," a fourth revealed.
