Drivers may have been saved from the cold weather with this smart trick to help open their car doors.
The information could come in handy given the freezing temperatures that the UK has been enduring this week.
The entire country has been swept with 'Arctic air' which has seen temperatures drop to five to six degrees lower than they would be on average.

Parts of UK were also hit by a snow bomb that may have caught a few Brits off guard after a relatively warm winter so far.
The Met Office issued yellow weather warnings for snow and ice, with Scotland, Northern Ireland, and the north of England the most affected areas.
But some good news is that the snow won't be here for much longer, with temperatures expected to slightly warm up at the weekend, with wet and windy conditions expected next week.
However, that doesn't stop cars being subjected to icy conditions this week, as many drivers would have struggled to de-frost their motors in the morning.

This issue is followed by another common one - trying to open the car door, bonnet, or trunk, but discovering are frozen shut.
Well, one TikToker has revealed a trick that everyone can do to open their frozen doors.
Known as @roadsidegenius on the social media app, the driver explains what to do if you are in this exact situation.

He says: "I'm going to show you guys a trick that you can do to get your trunk (hood) to pop open."
When he walks around to the bonnet, he places an inflatable lockout bag in the gap of his snow-covered vehicle and begins to pump the bag up.
The bag gradually gets bigger before we can hear the click of the bonnet opening.
"Now we can get in there and find some sort of latch!" he adds after popping it open slightly.

The method can, of course, be used on the doors of cars as well as the trunk, but it is a handy DIY hack that could come in use whenever a period of icy weather hits.
Dubbed the 'pump and flick' trick, users on TikTok were quick to share their thoughts on it.
One user said: "You taught me something."

To which Roadside Genius replied: "Knowledge is power."
Another commented: "It really sucks living in such a cold climate."
I think we can all resonate with that, but at least Spring's just around the corner (well, kind of).
