As the world celebrated Halloween yesterday, the United Arab Emirates has received huge praise for a spook-tacular drone arrangement that lit up the Dubai sky last night.
Since then, footage of the incredible lighting display has been doing the rounds on social media, with recordings of the drone show going viral.
The Halloween celebration took place beside the Burj Khalifa.

Hundreds of spectators dressed as ghouls, ghosts and goblins surrounded the 2,716.5 feet tower - also the biggest building in the world - to witness the once-in-a-lifetime show.
The production was organised by the Geoscan Group, and saw a colossal skeleton - made entirely out of hundreds of drones - walking around and dancing beside the towering building.
The Geoscan Group - according to its website - is a collection of Russian manufacturers, consisting of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV).

Part of the company is also devoted to developing photogrammetric data processing and three-dimensional data visualisation software.
Among the hundreds of social media users to publish footage of the video online were those working at Geoscan itself, who uploaded the clip to TikTok.
"I think that's the fastest moving drone show i've ever seen in my life", one impressed viewer wrote in the comment section.
Another gushed, "The real deal, Dubai always a cut above the rest", while a third added: "Dubai always doing extra haha".

On the subject of going all out this Halloween to celebrate the spooky season in style, one US resident has come under fire (literally!) for their choice of house decoration.
The man in question posted a video on social media captioned "Halloween decor!", which made it look as though his home had gone up in flames.
“I did these windows with a bedroom sheet, 2 lights and a fan," he added.

He then showed the inside of the house, which looks slightly less terrifying than the outside, which genuinely looks like a house fire is happening before your very eyes.
The fake orange flames split opinions in the comments section, but the majority have said that it looks too real to be a decoration.
One person loved the effort, and said: “Best Halloween decorations I’ve ever seen!”, while another added, "That’s actually pretty cool!"

Others were seemingly furious about the choice of decorations, with one penning: "And how many calls to the emergency services will there be wasting their time.”
