Tom Holland has responded to rumours that he has recently purchased a house in London with his girlfriend and co-star Zendaya.
It had been reported that the Spider-Man star had bought a £3 million ($4m) six-bedroom house in South London.

But it would seem that those reports had the wrong end of the stick.
When asked about the alleged purchase on Live with Kelly and Ryan, the 25-year-old scotched the rumours once and for all.
He told Kelly Ripa and Ryan Seacrest: “I’ve had so many people call me up, because apparently, I bought a new house in south London? Which is completely false.
“I didn’t buy a new house. I’m like, ‘Wow, what a surprise, I wonder when I’ll get the keys’.”

Now, usually these rumours tend to come from somewhere and aren’t simply pulled out of the ether.
So, Seacrest decided that he’d press a bit further by jokingly putting a selection of questions to Holland.
“Did you walk by a house? Did you go to someone’s house? Were you invited over?” he asked.

Holland responded: “I don’t know!”
Zendaya and Holland are thought to have been together for a few years now having met back in 2016, but they did a good job of keeping their relationship a secret for several years before the rumour mill caught up with them.
They eventually made their red carpet debut as an official couple for the premiere of their film Spider-Man: No Way Home in January of this year.
During that premiere appearance, Holland told US TV show Extra: “She’s one of the most incredible people I’ve ever met. And I love her to bits. So to be here tonight is amazing. I’m delighted to share it with her.”

The pair’s recent Marvel film has been a runaway success at the box office, overtaking Avatar to become the third-highest grossing film of all time at the US box office.
In a recent Instagram post, Marvel Studios president Victoria Alonso said that she felt ‘immense pride’ for everyone involved in the project, as well as thanking the audience for their ‘love and support’ of the movie.
Sharing a picture, she posted: "No caption needed. I’m immensely proud of the Spider-Man: No Way Home team and forever grateful to the audience for the love and support."

Before No Way Home premiered, it was projected that it would gross between $375m and $525m.
It ended up taking more than $200m more than that.
It just goes to show, Holland could afford that house in South London after all.
He’s probably one of just a handful of people out there that could, in the current market.
